A series of explosions were heard from the north side of the island. Clouds of smoke covered the entire scene when Ma Feng sprang out of the smoke with a smile on his face. He giggled softly as he landed on the ground.
Tons of trees surrounded the environment when two magical monsters charged out of the smoke. It had been two days since Ma Feng encountered the guardian, and the guardian had been sending tons of monsters.
Ma Feng sprinted as he sought to escape the magical monsters, but they didn't give up. The ground shook vigorously as Ma Feng supersped. He increased his speed when he noticed the monsters were well equipped.
Well equipped with magical essences to boost their speed and brute force!
The two monsters unleashed their powerful forces, causing a large series of explosions. The magical monsters halted as the dust cleared. They slowly turned their heads to see Ma Feng standing behind them.
"My, my... these magical monsters are all fueled up, I think. It would be very easy killing them with magics, but I prefer not to do that. I would like to test my body first before even thinking about magics," Ma Feng said.
"Violet, the copy skill... is it only applied for magics alone?" Ma Feng asked.
VIOLET: NOT QUITE SURE WHAT YOU MEAN, BUT IT HAS THE STRENGTH TO COPY MAGICS, ARTIFICIAL WEAPONS LIKE ARTIFACTS, AND PHYSICAL STRENGTH AND SPEED. IT IS AN A-RATED SKILL.
"Oh really? Then I guess I will be copying these monsters' physical strength. I believe with their high magical essences, it imbues their bodies and grants them great strength and physique. Let me have such strength," Ma Feng said.
VIOLET: SO IN OTHER WORDS, YOU WANT TO COPY THEIR FORCES, RIGHT?
"Yeah, that's what I meant all this while. I know I am quite strong, but in order to be the strongest, I will need more power," Ma Feng roared as he stopped the two rampaging magical monsters unleashed against him.
He stopped them head-on while holding back their brute force, but it was pushing him back. The ground cracked heavily as Ma Feng leapt and landed on a tree branch. Ma Feng let out a sigh as he smiled.
"They are quite strong, aren't they? Copy their skill," Ma Feng ordered as he felt his eyes analyzing the two magical monsters. These monsters were B-ranked level monsters to begin with.
VIOLET: COPY SKILL ACTIVATED. SYSTEM TRANSMISSION COMPLETE. B-RANKED MAGICAL MONSTERS. BRUTE FORCE COPIED. STRENGTH COPIED. INITIALIZING PROCESS COMPLETE. SYSTEM COMPLETE!!
"Oh wow, I can feel the brute force flowing in me. I guess this is enough," Ma Feng said as he leapt. The two monsters turned and charged at him with great force. The trees shook vigorously as Ma Feng smirked. He supersped while charging at the monsters. Both sides clashed at once. If Ma Feng chose magics, then the monsters would be outclassed by a million miles, but he needed to test out his strength.
Ma Feng smashed the first monster hard on the ground when he kicked the other without hesitation. The second monster crashed into a tree due to the impact, and Ma Feng smiled.
Although he possessed such strength, his body was still light!
The first monster slowly got up as it growled loudly, shaking its tail. The monster supersped. Ma Feng turned to see the first monster charging at him when he ducked the monster's head attack.
The monster reached to use its back legs to land a bone-crushing kick against Ma Feng, but it backfired immediately. The monster screamed out in pain as its legs shattered beyond repair from the force.
"Come to think of it, that was a no-go area if I must say. Attacking my body won't go well since I have a dragon's defensive body and physical strength, topping it up with this monster's strength."
"I guess it didn't just know that," Ma Feng said with a smile as he stopped the attack of the second monster. The ground broke due to the force, but Ma Feng didn't even blink.
"Awwwwwwwww," Ma Feng yawned out loud.
"Damn it, I'm hungry already. I guess this warm-up is over. I will be ending this now. Should I use magics or brute force? What's your answer... Violet?" Ma Feng asked with a smile on his face.
The monster was still struggling when Ma Feng grabbed it by the nose and flung it away. The monster crashed heavily on the ground with a few broken bones but got up afterward.
VIOLET: I AM CERTAIN YOU COULD CRUSH THEM WITHOUT HESITATION WITH YOUR BRUTE FORCE, BUT JUDGING BY YOUR GLUTTONOUS ATTITUDE AND HUNGRY STOMACH, IT'S BETTER TO FINISH IT UP WITH MAGIC!
Violet answered as the second monster launched its next attack. Ma Feng smirked as he faced the second monster sprinting at him. The wind began to blow heavily as rocks scattered around.
"I'm glad we chose to go our separate ways. My body was itching to unleash this much magical essence. This is wonderful," Ma Feng said as the monster's attack caused a large explosion.
The smoke cleared, and Ma Feng could be seen standing unfazed. The magical monster gnashed its teeth in anger as it charged at Ma Feng. Before it could reach him... the monster crashed into an invisible forcefield.
"A forcefield? How did I create such a thing?" Ma Feng asked himself.

"Oh really? Then this sounds awesome," Ma Feng said with a smile on his face.
He smiled as he saw the magical essence released into the air. He changed the form of the magical essence, shifting it from a forcefield to a large suppressing force of gravity.
The magical monster was suppressed to the ground as its bones began breaking, blood spilling out of its nose and eyes. It was like gravity was working on its own accord, and the monster was immediately crushed.
VIOLET: MA FENG, DID YOU JUST MANIPULATE THE MAGICAL ESSENCES YOU RELEASED?
Violet asked, and Ma Feng frowned as it seemed like her voice was rather shocked. He turned to face the first monster, which was still wincing in pain due to its broken bones, and no magics had been used so far.
"Yes, I did, Violet. Does it sound so shocking? I merely just noticed that I could control and shape them to my will, and I did so without using my magics. It really isn't something so shocking, am I right?" Ma Feng asked.
VIOLET: YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY WRONG. ACCORDING TO THE HISTORY OF THIS UNIVERSE, ONLY TEN PERCENT OF THIS WORLD CAN SEE THEIR MAGICAL ESSENCES, WHILE A SINGLE PERCENT CAN MANIPULATE THE MAGICAL ESSENCES...
VIOLET: AND THIS ONE PERCENT IS KNOWN IN THE LEGENDS TO BE EXTREMELY RARE. THEY ARE CALLED THE SUPREME MAGES... AND I AM QUITE SURPRISED YOU ARE A SUPREME MAGE, MA FENG!
"Eh? Supreme Mage... What sort of annoying things are you talking about, Violet? I didn't even understand a single thing you just said," Ma Feng said as he took a deep breath and smiled.
"Well, you will explain this stuff to me later... I have meats to eat!" Ma Feng said.
"Dragon Magic: Heart Crusher!" Ma Feng chanted as a copy of the monster's heart appeared in his hand. He immediately crushed the heart. Blood spilled out of the monster's mouth, and it died.
"Phew, this is such a pain... I had to restrict myself while acquiring such physical strength. This is how to train myself," Ma Feng said as he walked up to the dead magical monster with a smile on his face.
"This is sure fun... You can bet on it," Ma Feng said while smiling.
Meanwhile, Walter and Leonardo could be seen at a riverbank. Leonardo bent down to drink from the river. It had been two or three days already on this strange island, and Leonardo was trying to cooperate.
"Leonardo, you should be fast with what you are doing. There are still a few sites we have to check before finalizing our current trip on this island," Walter's voice could be heard as he stood on a dead monster.
"I am already done, but I have to ask a question. Are you supposed to be in the Crescent Department? You look more like an assassin or a soldier than a thinker. You should be in the military department," Leonardo voiced out.
He could see all the dead monsters slaughtered by Walter. Walter still remained as calm as he always was. He is an introvert who likes reading novels, but deep down inside, he is a trained killer.
But he has an IQ of 247, and he is quite smart!
"I was specially designed for the Crescent Department, but a man must always be prepared for any unpleasant circumstances such as this. I might not look it, but I am a master in martial arts and a skilled killer."
