Protagonist & His Lineage:
Orin Aerion (Ryo): The main protagonist. A young boy who is the reincarnation of Ryo, a top assassin from another world. He possesses an analytical mind, brutal combat instincts (Muon no Jutsu with forms like Kage no Hōyō, Ja no Rasen, Sasayaki no Yaiba), and a terrifying self-invented power called Kokuha (Shatterpoint). All his magical abilities (Magi, Aura, Sprite connection) are sealed by his father.
Emperor Valen Aerion: Orin's birth father and the formidable, reigning Emperor of Solara. He is the strongest mortal being in the Fractured Realm, a master of both Magi and Aura, who sealed Orin's powers before abandoning him.
Lady Seraphina Valerius: Orin's influential patron and unwitting aunt (Emperor Valen Aerion's sister). A prominent and wealthy figure in Solara, she takes Orin under her wing and sponsors his entry into the Lumina Ascendant Institute.
Orphanage Life & Early Allies:
Joric: Orin's loyal orphanage friend. Burly, hot-headed, and protective, he becomes one of Orin's first students, learning basic Muon no Jutsu.
Elara: Orin's empathetic and quick-witted orphanage friend. She is perceptive and takes to Muon no Jutsu's Kage no Hōyō naturally, also becoming Orin's student.
Gribble: A cruel and cowardly caretaker at the orphanage, who sells out the children to the Iron Grasp gang.
Grunt: The brutal leader of the Iron Grasp gang, defeated by Orin's Kokuha.
Past Life & Unseen Forces:
Oboro: Ryo's enigmatic and highly skilled mentor from his past life. He taught Ryo the Muon no Jutsu (Silent Arts).
Mysterious God-Caretaker: An unnamed, ancient divine being who orchestrated Ryo's reincarnation as Orin in Aethelgard. They subtly watch over Orin, with unknown motives.
The Lumina Ascendant Institute (Academy Peers):
Headmistress Lyra: The stern but respected head of The Lumina Ascendant Institute. She is skeptical of Orin's lack of magic but accepts him due to Seraphina's patronage.
Lord Kael Solara: An arrogant, powerful noble from Solara and Orin's academy peer. He is proficient in Magi and immediately dismisses Orin due to his apparent lack of power.
Lysandra "Lys" Vane: An intelligent and genuinely curious academy peer. She is intrigued by Orin's unique abilities and lack of overt magic.
Roric Ironfist: A good-natured and pragmatic academy peer who relies on his Aura. He could become a potential sparring partner or friend.
