Chapter 17 - Chapter 17 {Dophlin Night Skin Care}

Kai blinked, realizing he had muttered the name of the skin care brand out loud. He quickly glanced around, making sure no one had heard him. The last thing he needed was for someone to think he was obsessed with beauty products.

He looked back at the bottle, reading the label more closely. "Dolphin Night Skin Care," it said, in elegant, goldembossed letters. "Rejuvenating Moisturizer for Men."

Kai had never heard of the brand before, but the packaging and the scent of the lotion suggested that it was something expensive and highend. He wondered how Viviana had gotten her hands on it. Had she bought it herself, or had someone given it to her?

He shrugged, deciding not to dwell on it. Whatever the case, the lotion was working wonders on his skin. He could already feel the difference his face felt smoother, more hydrated.

As Viviana drifted off to sleep, her mind was still racing with the knowledge she had gained from the ancient texts. The secrets of Xingming Daoyi, the power of the rare herbs and techniques, all swirled in her dreams, mixing with fragments of her past lives.

She tossed and turned, her brow furrowed in concentration even as she slept. Suddenly, she sat up, her eyes flying open. She had remembered something important a crucial detail that had been eluding her.

With a sense of urgency, she swung her legs out of bed and reached for the book she had been reading earlier. She flipped through the pages, searching for the passage she needed.

There it was a list of ingredients for a rare elixir, said to grant immense power and longevity to those who consumed it. Viviana's heart raced as she read the list, realizing that she had all the necessary components in her possession.

She glanced at the clock it was late, but she knew she couldn't wait. She had to start preparing the elixir immediately.

Viviana refused to leave her room for the next three days she didn't even bother eating much she was trying different formula each time she failed she threw it away. With her calculation they are about 100,000 answers but 1,000 of the answers a right.

On the fourth day, Viviana finally emerged from her room, looking exhausted but determined. She had spent the past three days locked away, experimenting with different formulas and ingredients, trying to perfect the elixir.

Her hair was disheveled, her eyes bloodshot from lack of sleep, and her clothes were rumpled. But there was a newfound confidence in her step, a sense of accomplishment.

She made her way downstairs, her nose twitching at the aroma of food wafting from the kitchen. She hadn't eaten much during her seclusion, relying mostly on tea and occasional snacks. Now, her stomach growled loudly, reminding her of her hunger.

As she entered the kitchen, she found her mother, Elizabeth, preparing breakfast. The older woman looked up, concern etched on her face as she took in Viviana's appearance.

"Viviana, dear! Where have you been? We've been so worried about you. You look exhausted."

Before Viviana could say anything she fainted Richard was able to catch his precious daughter just in time. He became so worried and asked for the family doctor right away. Hina just finished with a call with her best friend when she saw this she secretly hoped that Viviana would just drop dead. But she played the sister act.

"Mom, dad what happened?" Hina asked. Elizabeth and Richard did not hear Hina only worried about Viviana.

Richard gently laid Viviana down on the couch, his heart racing with worry. He brushed her hair away from her face, his touch tender and loving.

"It's okay, sweetheart," he murmured.

"The doctor is on his way. You'll be alright."

Elizabeth hovered nearby, wringing her hands nervously. She couldn't believe how pale and fragile Viviana looked.

"What could have happened to her?" she wondered aloud.

"She's been so quiet lately, locked away in her room. I should have checked on her sooner."

Hina stood back, watching the scene unfold with a mixture of concern and resentment. She hated seeing her parents so worried about Viviana, hated that the newcomer had so easily captured their affection.

But she knew she had to play the part of the concerned sister. She stepped forward, placing a hand on Elizabeth's shoulder.

"Mom, dad I am a doctor let me check on her don't forget my master is Tang Li," Hina said her eyes darken as she sneered in her heart why can't this bitch die?

With Viviana last strength before she fainted again she glared at Hina.

"No need I can wait for a doctor," she said and fainted. Hina was speechless this girl! She is just a country bumpkin!

Hina's face flushed with anger at Viviana's rejection. How dare she refuse her help? Didn't she know who Hina was, who her master was? Tang Li was one of the most renowned doctors in the country, and Hina was his protégé.

She clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms. She wanted to scream, to slap Viviana's arrogant face. But she held back, knowing that she had to maintain her composure in front of her parents.

"Fine," she said through gritted teeth.

"I'm sure the family doctor is just as capable."

She stepped back, crossing her arms over her chest. She watched as Richard gently wiped Viviana's forehead with a cool cloth, his touch so tender and loving. It made Hina sick to her stomach. Richard had never done that to her. She formed a frown and the family doctor showed up.

The doctor leaned in closer, inhaling deeply. The scent was intoxicating, a perfect blend of herbs and something sweet and floral. It reminded him of peach blossoms in full bloom, a fragrance that was both comforting and invigorating.

"What is that smell?" he murmured, his brow furrowing in confusion.

He looked up at Viviana's parents, wondering if they had noticed it too. But Richard and Elizabeth seemed oblivious, their attention solely focused on their daughter's pale face.

Hina, on the other hand, had noticed. Her eyes narrowed as she took in the scent, her mind racing with possibilities. She knew that Viviana had been locked away in her room for days, experimenting with who knows what. Could this strange fragrance be a result of her tinkering?

The doctor shook his head, dismissing the scent for now. He had more pressing matters to attend to.

Wait this isn't Hina who is this girl.

"Gu Ming! Thank goodness this is my biological daughter Viviana Rosenzweig," Richard said. Biological daughter holy shit if words got out the high wealthy society would be shocked to death! After all the Rosenzweig power goes from China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, and some other places. So it means that Hina is just a fake heiress. He stared at Hina who was standing there she was in deep thought. Gu Ming ignored everything and started to do a check up Viviana.
