9th of May
Hana Lori died on 26th of April. Natalia, the second victim, died on 30th of April. Josie the third victim died on 6th of May. All victims were murdered within the span of 14 days. It is way faster than any normal serial killing. But then again it is not anything like an average serial killing. Today is the third day after the last murder....
We may have identified some facts about the murderer but these facts will not reflect on who the murderer is. The murders were carried out in three different countries so identifying them through location is not possible. So perhaps if we take a look at who the next most popular influencers is....no that's not it...we have to be more specific...if we look for the influencers who received that email and moreover have said yes to it. We know that the sender of the email only sends email to those who have had fluctuations in their viewership. If us ICOA keeps a close eye on those citizens then perhaps we will get to see who was trying to kill them then if we capture that killer then we can make them spill all about where they came from.
I will have to talk to the chief about this. If we make contact to those influencers having fluctuations in their viewership and identify who amongst them have received that email then we will be able to execute the plan.
Moran is the only one who arrives an hour late to the inspectors. The only detective out of the five fractions that arrives late.
"Morning"
Just as he arrives at the office he sets out to leave immediately and gets asked his intention by Aiko. He explains to them his plan to make a step further in this investigation.
Sebastian: "Should I come along?
"No, I should go alone."
Chief: "I refuse to act on this decision."
"Why?"
Chief: "It is not in my personality to act on hypotheses that have no definite proof."
Damn this old man.
"All three victims received the same email so I doubt this is a hypothesis."
Chief: "Prove that this is somehow relevant to this case at hand then I will think about taking an action."
He glares at the chief for some seconds then makes his way to leave.
Chief- "And make sure you think first before questioning me why. I am senior to you by position. My word here is absolute."
"I come from a democratic country. And if you refuse to make this section of ICOA democratic then I shall not hesitate to file a complaint to the higher-ups."
Chief: "You have a sharp tongue for someone who sleeps in his office."
Aiko: "Did it work?"
"No, the chief disregarded my Idea."
Sebastian: "Why? It was a really good plan."
"It was but apparently the chief called my theory 'hypothesis' and he shall not work on it."
The way he said the word hypothesis suggested that he has no doubt in the legitimacy of his theory.
"By the way, Sebastian, did you include in the report of my sleeping?"
This sentence is meant to ask if Sebastian snitched on him. If so, Moran needs to ask him not to snitch on him.
"I would not! You may just come into the office and sleep but you are the sole reason our investigation is making any progress."
Sebastian should not have given Moran the benefit of his doubt regarding sleeping in the office. Dear readers, do not sleep in the workplace.
Sebastian: "Why do you ask though?"
"The chief apparently knows of my sleeping here."
Aiko: "the CCTV!"
"Ah! Yes"

"Sebastian, are you done working on the daily report?"
Sebastian: "I am working on it."
"Can you not include the fact that we are working on the theory that was dismissed by the chief."
Sebastian: "Alright, but why though?"
"Detective intuition."
Sebastian: "....."
Whenever Moran have used the phrase 'Detective intuition' Sebastian can't help but feel dumb about himself.
