Chapter 57: Let there be Light.

- Shin –

The atmosphere tensed a bit as we had no idea where we were. Even Super Devils were careful against Longinus users.

There were three of the Top Four Longinus Users on our opposite side and two or more Satan Class Devils with unknown powers.

I didn't count the mooks.

I spread my Observation and my eyes widened for a bit. There were over fourteen thousand attacking forces. Although many of them are the creations of the Annihilation Maker, it still doesn't change the fact that there are so many of them. There are around six thousand devils and a few thousand magicians as well.

"This is a much larger force than what you told us, Vali." Azazel commented looking outside the window.

"They include the followers of the Old Satans and even the Magicians. I was not included in their meeting, just given the general information about the attack." Vali commented looking outside too.

"It seems that they realised that Ophis wasn't present there and decided to go all out. That or maybe they don't trust you enough to tell you all the details." Odin spoke looking out at the gathering too.

My Observation was being blocked by Dimension Lost so I couldn't sense anyone hiding behind those space mists.

"Issho-san, can you look past those mists?" I asked just to try.

He looked blankly towards the misty walls of the dimension and shook his head. "No Young Sir. This one cannot feel anything beyond that fog."

"I see. They must be hiding behind those mists to look for an opportunity to snipe some of us. In that case, Issho-san, Patrick, Kuroka, observe for any anomalies in the surroundings. Sakuya, stay with them and in case they observe any fluctuations in the Mist, get there as soon as possible and attack or defend." I should have gotten Katakuri too. He would have been a great help. "Law, can you cover all of us?" I asked, looking towards my new knight.

"The battlefield is smaller than Dresrossa, I can easily cover the entirety of it." Law nodded. I thought for a moment and passed him a lot of Stamina and Mana Potions.

"Cover us all and if they," I pointed towards Issho, Patrick and Kuroka, "Point out, swap us away from the attack range of the enemy. For now just give a demonstration to everyone in the room so that they get a feel of your Magic." There was a chance that others might resist, thinking of it as an enemy's attack and that would be a massive problem. It's better to get difficult things out of the way as soon as possible.

"Room." He spread his room over the place and swapped our places a few times to give everyone the feeling of the magic. I looked at everyone and they nodded as well.

The leaders will more or less stay here but the rest of us will fight.

Soon enough the bigger energy signatures started appearing.

A brown haired woman with glasses, wearing purple clothes appeared alongside a black haired emo looking elf wannabe dressed in an old fashioned cloak.

There was another magician girl, which Observe showed to be Walburga, a witch of the Hexchant organisation.

I sensed the atmosphere cooling down behind me as the ground around Lavinia's foot started freezing, her hair flickering between her blonde and sky blue.

"I guess you already know your opponent. Suzaku, back her up in case someone tries to attack her from behind when she is fighting her opponent."

"We will take on the Magicians with her." Natsume spoke up and the Slash Dog team went ahead. There was a bit of awkwardness between them but their teamwork was still there.

Sona took the opportunity to take on the monsters of the Annihilation Maker along with her peerage.

Rias went on to fight against Katerea Leviathan and I sent Ingvild along with them.

Gasper stayed behind with the leaders to avoid his Sacred Gear from being exploited.

Dulio, Griselda and the church duo left to fight the Devils and Vali Team except Kuroka followed.

I sent my peerage members to reduce the load of the main force while some stayed back to work as a backup when the Hero Faction inevitably attacks.

"Kuzan, join them as well. Keep a lookout for the kids." Serafall ordered and Kuzan sprouted his Devil Wings on his back and flew too.

"Will they be alright, Shin? I know Rias has become stronger but can she fight someone like Katerea and Creuserey?" Sirzechs asked, looking quite worried.

Unlike Serafall, he had no idea what they were capable of right now.

"They will be alright. Rias and Akeno can probably take them on by themselves. She took others as a means of backup. I don't think they are taking any risks." Not with Luna there.

He looked at me quietly for a moment and then nodded looking at the battlefield once more.

And then the battle started.

- Yamato –

Yamato raced through the battlefield, her mace drawn as Armament covered her skin. The fire and ice spells bounced off of her as she bashed the magicians aside, sending them flying through the air.

Rias had promised her that she would get to go on an adventure beyond anything she could have ever imagined when she had freed her from that prison among other things.

Till now, she had kept all her promises.

Be it beating up her shitty old man or freeing Wano and returning it to its rightful rulers or even opening up Wano and letting it communicate with the rest of the world.

She was really hurt when the people had found out that she was Kaido's child and had wanted to persecute her for it but her new teammates had stood up for her. Even Hiyori-hime stood up for her.

And then she met her new idol, Shion-senpai, an ogre or as she called herself Evil Oni like herself. Shion-senpai was strong. It wasn't even funny how strong she was. She had seen the fight at Marineford and the fight against Vice Admiral Garp about whom she had learned from the diaries of Oden. That was a person who had sent even Gol D. Roger running and chased him all across the seas….and, such a person was downright blasted off with a punch. That was the sort of thing that even her shitty old man couldn't do. It was at that moment she knew that she had found her adventure.

Later on, they gave her the best present she could have ever hoped for.

A chance to meet her previous idol, Kozuki Oden. Even as a ghost, that person had smiled and greeted her in a friendly manner, not blaming her one bit for her heritage. He told her to become a person that she could be proud of, to become Yamato and thanked her for supporting Wano.

Yamato might or might not have cried on that day.

Since then, she had trained along with her new crew.

The people were all different but friendly.

Her Captain or was it King, Rias was strong and beautiful. She had seen the fight against Big Mom, Charlotte Linlin who could fight even that bastard Kaido head on.

Rias had utterly crushed her.

Akeno was….well she was weird. There was something about her that Yamato didn't understand most of the time. But she was also a nice person.

She was very graceful like Hiyori-hime.

Koneko on the other hand was someone she liked a lot, except when they had to share snacks.

Kiba was like a samurai from Wano, all prim and courteous all the time.

Then there was Boa Hancock.

The most beautiful woman in their world was….also weird.

She was apparently trying to become Shin's concubine or wife. It would have been weirder but he apparently had more than one of those so it was normal….somehow.

Fleur taught her about girly things and liked to gush about new dresses and stuff but she didn't understand why.

Hermione liked to read and talk about Magic and while Yamato would not lie, she absolutely thought it was awesome, she didn't understand a single word of it.

Then there was Gasper. He was a….wimp.

She was absolutely furious with the wimpy kid back when she first met him and had taken it onto herself to train him to man up. She later found out that they shared a very common childhood, locked away by their fathers at childhood and threatened with death on running away. She had loosened up a lot after that although she still put him through the ringer to man up and exercise instead of always hiding in the room.

She was not the only one doing the teaching however. She had learned a few things too. Some basic magic. She found out that she was good with Ice Magic like her Devil Fruit's power as well as Fire Magic.

She pushed some of her Demonic Power through her mace and white flames lit the top of it, not burning it but rather chilling the entire surroundings. Red and black lightning crackled around her mace and she swung it. The field and all the enemies in front of her turned to white, frozen in a single place. The enemies in the air started falling one after another, being hit by the force of her Conqueror's.

Yeah baby, this was the adventure.

- A Random Attacking Devil –

These magicians were completely useless. Getting slaughtered like that. Then again what else would you expect of those pathetic human magicians.

Their plan has been perfect.

The true heirs of the Satans will guide them to victory. Their enemies had been separated from their main forces and had only a handful of people at best.

He will just have to do his part and get his name to be noticed by everyone. No need to go for the obvious strong targets.

That always ended badly. What was even the use of credits if you didn't live to see another night?

He looked around the battlefield and found his target, an Angel with ink hair and a single pair of wings and a weird halo on its head. It was a low class Angel at best.

It must have been serving as a servant of sorts for the Leaders. Tch….colluding with the angels now. These filthy traitors fell to real depths.

He brought out a demonic sword that he had gained during the last civil war during his raids on the rebel houses and flew straight towards the Angel, ready to cleave her head before she realised it. It was too bad that this was a battlefield or he would have enjoyed her personally.

As he reached closer to her, she turned and her eyes widened slightly.

Too bad, he was already there and she had no time to escape.

He swung his sword with all his might.

Clank.

A metallic crashing sound occurred and the next thing he knew, the world started to spin around.

He noticed a headless body in that spin which looked awfully familiar. It had a broken demonic sword, just like his sword in its hand.

And then everything went into black.

- Rias –

"So the traitor now hides behind his sister? Tell him to come out and face us." The brown haired woman, Katerea Leviathan if she recalled, shouted out loud.

The man with her merely took to glare at her without any words and tried to kill her with a glare maybe.

"My brother doesn't have to come down for the likes of you. He did send a message though. Surrender and you will get a chance to speak fairly."

This was not completely true. Her brother did want to send this message but after some of the things Vali exposed about them, it was unilaterally decided by everyone that they should be finished off in today's attack to avoid any more trouble in the future.

"Hah….us, surrender? His foolishness knows no bounds. I have no more words for you but for her," She turned towards Ingvild. "I was informed that someone of my bloodline, although a half-breed was found. Yet you collude with the traitors who took our rightful place from us? You bow down to a filthy reincarnated human?" she shouted and Rias found her fingers twitch slightly at the last bit of the insult.

She was still a bit touchy about her Shin.

She was going to reply but was cut off by Akeno's giggle.

"Ara ara, those are some bold words, right there? Ingvild here, half-breed or not, has inherited the Clan Trait of the Original Leviathan, something that you haven't. She has a better say and claim over the Leviathan name than you….after all, who is to say that you are truly even descended from the Sea Serpent of the End or merely faking it. You don't have any legitimate proof of that now, do you?" Akeno said as she flew beside her.

Ouch.

That must have hurt Katerea's overinflated ego like a nuke.

But Akeno wasn't done yet. "Ingvild here was a legitimate Satan Class, even without her Sacred Gear or her Clan Trait, even when she was asleep for a century under sickness. You on the other hand are just an Ultimate Class even after wasting so much of your parent's resources after more than six centuries. I am starting to think my words have more truth than I first expected. Maybe a real investigation needs to be done. Isn't that right….fake Leviathan?"

And she was correct.

Water serpents shot out, following Katerea's enraged cry as she went completely blank in rage.

Rias shot out her orbs of destruction, intercepting the water serpents while Akeno's lightning blitzed in between them, shooting out her coins at both of the opponents, who hid behind their barriers.

Ingvild took a position behind them and sang. Dragons made up of water appeared from the clouds above. It still stunned Rias whenever she saw them. To be honest, compared to this, Katerea might really be a fake.

"BLOOOOOOOOOD TRAITORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.!"

Rias took to fighting off Creuserey because Akeno was having too much fun getting Katerea mad.

She had her backups so she was not worried.

Shin had already informed them that Katerea or Creuserey might try a suicidal attack if pushed too far.

She was planning to blow their heads off the moment her Observation gave her any indication of it.

Akeno was the same. They were just stalling for the hidden attackers to come out. There was a chance that they might retreat if everyone was killed very quickly and the thought of looking over your back for a True Longinus wielder out to attack you with the help of the Dimension Lost and an Annihilation Maker users was really stressful.

"Oh my, how short tempered. I pity the man who ends up with you." she heard Akeno's voice again.

She fired off several hundreds of the orbs of destruction towards Creuserey while using her Devil Fruit power and increasing their size by fifty times, successfully pushing the enemy away, just in time to hear Akeno again.

"Or Woman? I don't judge, I just pity them."

….ouch.

She had learned from Merlin that trash talk was a good way to create distractions during a fight, especially for attackers who attacked fast, like Akeno.

She was even taught about it but in terms of trash talking, she was still far behind her queen.

Katerea blew up like a balloon.

Her attacks took on the crest of the infinity and increased in power. It was however completely ineffective against Ingvild who easily fended her off.

It was at this instant that her Observation started blaring alarms to her. She moved to the side as there was a bang and two rays of golden light clashed against each other. The resultant golden ray of light hit the ground below and left a fiery crater in place. Her skin blistered slightly at the holy power in that blow even though she had dodged it completely.

Her retreat was covered by Akeno who shot scores of railgun coins towards the attacker, causing him to dodge.

The very next instant, she knew, the figure of her beloved Shin appeared right in front of her. "It's fine. I will handle this. You continue."

She looked at him in slight worry but turned towards her own opponent.

- Shin –

That bastard slipped away.

I tried to place a quick curse on him but the True Longinus blocked it off.

This was a legendary level Dismancer's curse. Dammit the True Longinus is hax.

Akeno's attack did make a solid hit on him, blowing out a chunk of his thigh. He was pulled back into the Dimension Lost's mist soon enough.

It was good that I had sent my Shadow Clone in Rias' shadow before she had left for the fight.

"That was quite dangerous there." Odin called out, caressing his beard.

I didn't look back and neither did Sirzechs. We were observing the battlefield to keep an eye on everything.

"The cannon fodders are being removed quite fast, at least the living ones. The Annihilation Maker's creations are a completely different matter. The Dimension Lost is just making it hard to track their numbers." Azazel looked at the battlefield too.

"How long till we can pinpoint their location Ajuka?" Sirzechs asked.

"The user himself might not even be here but the Dimension itself is quite strong to contain us. This cannot be done without any kind of supporting equipment. I am trying to locate them and disable them one by one. It is hard to pinpoint them though" Ajuka explained the situation in detail for us.

"Do you even have a rough idea of the devices? I might have a way to get through the mist in the area." I said, wondering if Arthur's Caliburn or my Door Door Fruit infused Arondight can punch a hole through the mist.

"Move Sona towards the right." I heard Patrick's voice.

Law teleported Sona to a place a few metres towards the right, just in time to dodge another ray of attack.

This time my Shadow Clone stayed hidden.

I was, however, distracted by another voice. "Is that….the White Tiger, Byakko?" Amaterasu gasped pointing towards the massive white tiger in the middle of the battle field with tornados bowing around her, pulling and shredding any attackers around her into pieces.

"Her name is Tsubaki Shinra. She was recruited by Sona Sitri when her family shunned her for having an uncontrolled Sacred Gear without even trying to help her. This White Tiger Spirit is from the world I visited recently so I took an opportunity to give it to Tsubaki. She has an amazing compatibility with it."

"There are Divine Beasts in that world too?" Yasaka asked curiously.

"There are. Yamato, the oni fighting over there, is the daughter of the host of the Azure Dragon of that world. She herself is the host of the Okuchi no Makami spirit, a Divine Wolf of sorts. I gave the Vermilion Bird Spirit to Suzaku and I have no idea about the Genbu of that world. Oh, I also have a Kyuubi no Kitsune's spirit and a Yamata no Orochi."

That got her attention. It was just in time for Law to make another one on our side, this time Dulio to safety.

"This is getting ridiculous. Can you tell me when the user is in range?" I asked, looking at Ajuka. "I am pretty sure he would need to power the devices at certain intervals."

He looked at me for a moment and nodded. "I was trying to take control of the devices to trap them inside. It would help prevent them from escaping. Give me thirty seconds. I estimate that they need to recharge the devices every 14 minutes. The location of every device is changed every two minutes and they get repaired and even reformed so you will have one and a half minutes for all of them and there are ten devices. You sure, you can manage all ten points?" He asked.

Ten points.

It can be done.

I will just have to send my peerage members in.

"Azazel, send a message to Vali. Ask him if he can entangle Cao Cao for a while. Two minutes. Dulio can help if needed. Kuroka, can you trap him for a few moments?"

"Hmm, alright."

"Tell them to act on Ajuka's call."

I called over my earpiece, "Jibril, Shion, Sakuya, Merlin, Akeno, Meridith, Suzaku, Law, Kiba, we will have one minute from the moment you get the call to locate devices that are acting as anchors to strengthen the Dimension Lost for empowering this dimension. You might find opponents there. You need to destroy the devices and the opponent within that time. You think you can do it?"

The voices all echoed their confirmation.

"Others need to increase the pace of attacks as soon as they leave to take down the devices. Overwhelm the enemies and make them panic for that one minute. Jibril, Shion, Sakuya, Merlin, you all can go all out. Rossweisse, Koneko, Fleur, Hermione, Issho-san, we might need a BIG distraction. Go wild on the battlefield."

Azazel and Michael took the time to inform Vali and Dulio of everything too.

Kuroka caught sight of the space fluctuation with her Senjutsu and Observation and locked the space in the Area. Merlin quickly threw in her spells, temporarily locking Cao Cao in while Law swapped Vali and Dulio in.

"Cao Cao's trapped. We need the location of the devices." I said. I left a Shadow Clone to coordinate everyone while we were hunting for the devices.

"I am almost ready. The information will be transmitted to your minds in 3, 2, 1….go." Ajuka's voice sounded and we flashed.

- Azazel –

Azazel felt massive energies being released all over the battlefield in that very instant.

"What the actual fuck do the kids eat these days?" He said as he watched space shatter like glass from the little Nekoshou's punch. "Is this one of those Devil fruits that you talked about, the one that can cause space quakes?" He asked looking at Serafall who seemed to be the only one who knew what was going on as Shin had disappeared as well. The entire mountain in front of the Nekoshou, Koneko was shattered into pieces.

"It is. That one's the Tremor Tremor Fruit. It was wielded by the strongest man in the world who is a friend of Shin's teacher as well as Asia's adopted father. That man knows how to party. He is a part giant I think but the happy and gentle kind of the giant. He could make tsunamis with his punches and destroy entire islands."

"Edward in his prime could do much worse. He was just a calm sort of fellow who liked to live peacefully with his so-called sons." Patrick commented from the side.

"You know him?" Azazel asked.

The man in question just shrugged his shoulders.

"Patrick could fight him to a standstill with his swordsmanship alone just like Shin's teacher. On that note Patrick, would you like to enjoy the battle?" Serafall offered.

"Hmm, since the coward is trapped, I suppose I could let loose for a while. I don't know if I can find a suitable opponent though." He walked out of the window, his devil wings out, hands on his sword and lips curved upwards.

He blinked into the middle of the battlefield surrounded by devils all around and drew out his sword.

Then a crushing wave of pressure swept out from him. The sky's colour changed and a massive whirlpool formed in it while lightning flashed.

Almost sixty percent of the devils around him lost their consciousness.

Azazel along with Michael and the others turned towards Serafall who was throwing extremely smug looks towards Gabriel who in turn didn't even care making the wannabe magical girl pout in annoyance.

"This is one of the three forms of Haki. It is a form of technique unique to that world. I think Shin said that the laws of the world will allow us to learn it in that world. There are three types of Haki. Observation, which is quite an advanced level of sensory skill. What Shin, Issho and Patrick here were doing was one of the top level Observation techniques, which allows the user to take a look, a few seconds into the future. That's how they were able to predict all of Cao Cao's attack before it even happened."

"Really! Looking into the future? Even if it's just a few seconds, it would still cause massive differences in a battle between beings of our levels. Is this something all of us can learn?" Sirzechs asked, quite surprised.

"In that world, maybe yes. That said, Future Sight is a skill that less than a dozen people have in the entire world, probably, or even less. It takes decades of experience to achieve this. I couldn't even get close to achieving it after all the training. The second is called Armament which is basically a spiritual energy based Touki. It exponentially buffs the users offensive and defensive powers and can also be applied to a weapon to increase their damage.

The final type of Haki is also the most special, Conqueror's. It is said that this type of Haki is an innate talent that one is born with and cannot develop. It is generally present in those and I quote 'who possess the quality of the King or a Conqueror'. It's basically someone who can walk their own path, born leaders and such kind of people basically. Conqueror's allows the user to exert their wills upon others. Those devils fainted because their wills were much weaker than Patrick's and were crushed. At higher levels of Mastery, this Haki can be used to coat weapons that can ignore any traditional defence and directly harm the enemy. There is a famous saying among the people of that world, 'Numbers don't matter against Kings. What you see there is Patrick exerting his will power on the world and causing those changes. It's actually a pretty neat skill." And as if to demonstrate it, she walked towards the windows and narrowed her eyes as another massive wave of pressure covered the attackers, the ones who had come near the building, causing them to drop on the ground like flies while foaming from their mouths all of a sudden.

"That's….convenient." Azazel commented slowly. It was a lot more than just convenient and everyone present there knew of this.

If this skill existed during the Great War, their Father alone could have bulldozed through the crowd, weakened and exhausted or not.

At least this will make casualties in any war lesser if the enemies just faint. Breaking the wills of the enemies is more preferable.

"Does that magician girl own the Incinerate Anthem? Absolute Demise versus Incinerate Anthem. Those two have always been kind of like rivals just like the Heavenly Dragons, only much less aggressive." Amaterasu commented but I noticed her eyes never leaving Tsubaki and Yamato.

Also, she paid close attention to Koneko as well.

"Wait, why are those Youkai kneeling on the ground?" Yasaka asked, suddenly distracted.

"Ah, that's Perona at work. She is Sona's new pawn. Her power is….troublesome."

The…. Clone, doppelganger, puppet, or whatever Shin had left before flashing away answered. "It increases the negativity of a person to an extreme degree for a short period of time. It can be resisted with strong will but that also depends on Perona's own power."

Increasing negativity is basically making the Youkai's use of Senjutsu extremely hard to control. That girl's power is probably the bane of all Senjutsu users.

In the meanwhile the blind man, Azazel seriously had doubts about the blind part, had gotten to the battlefield.

"Left flank, clear out the battlefield. There is a massive AOE incoming in twenty seconds." The clone spoke through the microphone and the rest of the Vali Team who were in the area joined Arthur who opened a portal with Caliburn, carrying them all out from the area.

And then it happened.

Issho swung his sword towards the ground and stepped back, walking towards a different area.

"I don't get it?" Grayfia asked, confused by the man's actions.

"Hehe just keep on watching Fia-chan. Issho is someone as strong as Kuzan. Sona really got a gem this time. Then again my So-tan is awesome herself. She would get nothing less." Serafall started bragging while the others paid more attention to the ground.

"That's…." Ajuka and Odin were the first to find out and looked into the sky. This place was in a different area and dragging meteorites in here might have been difficult. They were transported into a different place after all. And apparently this dimension was much bigger than we had thought. They probably transported us to an empty dimension which they had rigged in advance instead of creating a new one. It was understandable because creating such a big dimension would have revealed them to us earlier.

Well too bad for them.

This sky was not empty and neither was the space.

"Koneko, push everyone towards the Left Flank. Kuzan, make a wall after they are thrown there. Brace yourself everyone." He heard Shin's clone order as Koneko punched her opponents, sweeping the people in a massive storm of dust and rubble towards the left flank.

Kuzan, the new member of Serafall's peerage, raised a massive Ice Wall almost instantly between the left flank and the rest of the battlefield, separating the area as the devils on that side barely had a moment to relax or recover as the meteors crashed on them.

The entire area was shaken by the earthquake that followed.

That move probably cleared over fourteen hundred attacking forces. A tenth of what was attacking them. Sure Azazel could have done similar things if he tried but for a recently turned human, this was quite insane. Shin said that they were there for a few months but that wasn't even the time they recruited him.

At least these people are working for the sake of peace.

Azazel sighed, solidifying to convince Shin to let him see this new world which bred such monsters.

- Shin (Clone) -

This man's a fucking monster.

Becoming a Devil has only pushed his powers even further.

I suddenly snapped towards Koneko who was watching the shockwaves collide with the massive ice wall.

The future sight showed me something I wasn't even expecting.

"Morgiana, cover Koneko. There's a big one." I spoke as I rushed forwards myself, my swords drawn as I appeared right in the area, just in time for the mist to retreat and a blur flicker towards Koneko. I swung my sword, blocking the blur's path towards Koneko as Morgiana instantly went full Red Lion mode and crashed into the blur which halted the advance to avoid being caught in my slash, making itself known to the whole battlefield, a massive wolf of blue and white colour. I didn't even need to use Observe after feeling its energy. The Harbinger of Ragnarok was here. It's Fenrir.

Name: Fenrir

Title: The God Killing Wolf

Race: Divine Wolf

Rank: Champion

Level: 150

"Do you think you can manage it, Morgiana?" I asked, looking at the God Killing Wolf.

That thing is like level 900.

Morgiana on the other hand.

Name: Morgiana

Title: The Red Dragon Empress

Race: Red Lion/Devil Hybrid

Rank: Champion

Level: 134

She was in her Red Lion form and nodded towards me.

In her Balance Breaker form, she could probably match it more or less. The Balance Breaker form changed to fit their wielders' shape.

Two other smaller wolves soon appeared from the mist following behind it.

On our side, Koneko and Tsubaki stepped up against them.

It was Felines versus Canines.

Finally the puppeteer of all appeared. Loki flanked by Dragon King Midgardsomr's clones, each at level 500 while Loki himself was at level 640.

Those fuckers must have panicked when we sent people after the devices and sent Loki to put pressure on us and probably kill a few of us.

I don't think I have enough energy to fight these by myself. Boss will probably return in a minute along with the others. Need to hold out till then.

The rest of the members of our peerage arrived behind us.

I need to waste some time.

There are still some clones hiding in the shadows of Rias and the other girls.

Let's try to waste some time till then.

- Law-

Law spread his Observation, looking for the Device mentioned by Shin. It looked like a beacon of light connecting itself to the world.

He dashed towards the place when he felt another aura in front of him and jumped to the side.

The attacker punched the place where he had been standing a moment ago, causing a massive explosion.

He took in the form of the attacker a moment later, a large burly guy who looked like a typical muscle headed fool.

"Hahaha so you could dodge that puny..."

"Room."

His zone spread over the place, the guy taking a defensive position but all for naught.

"Shambles."

Before the guy could even make a twitch, his heart was in Law's hand and the building they were in was chopped into pieces.

He took a moment to exchange himself with a piece of debris near the device and stabbed at the metallic piece.

The place around him started to crack suddenly.

This job was complete.

- Jibril –

Jirbil raced through the dimension. She was ordered to destroy the device.

There were eight others who were assigned the same task by her Lord and Master and Jibril vowed to herself to finish the task the fastest among everyone.

She sensed a place that was acting as a linchpin for this dimension with some life signals around the place and directly fired an Air Strike.

The entire dimension collapsed.

….

She looked at the time 12 seconds.

Yeah….she probably nailed it.

- Akeno –

Akeno didn't even need to focus completely to feel the concentration of the energy two floors above her. There were life signals, around a dozen magicians powering the device.

She was having so much fun getting a rise out of the arrogant Leviathan. She just wanted to get back there as soon as possible before Rias decides that playtime is over and finishes them off….or even worse, that thieving cat wins the race.

Lightning crackled around her as dozens of coins were lifted around her. Her aim had gotten extremely good as she mastered her new Devil Fruit powers. The electrical signals in the bodies of her opponents can act like trackers for her shots and although they were linear in their direction of travel, the aim increased a lot. There were rarely people who could dodge shots at that high of a speed anyways.

With a cracking sound, as the sound barrier around her broke, the shots drilled through the ceiling above her and through the magicians and the device alike.

The dimension around her cracked.

- Kuroka –

Kuroka was racing against time. She had to get back to the battlefield where Shirone and Morgiana were fighting and she also wanted to avoid losing to that cow.

She could just imagine the smug looks she would throw her way for at least a month if she lost this.

So she decided to go all out.

A Silvery white aura appeared around her and the pitch black truth Seeking Balls emerged flying behind her back.

Here Senjutsu had already caught the location of the enemies and she just sent all the Truth Seeking Balls where she sensed the device, wiping everything in between.

The space around her cracked.

- Yuuto Kiba –

He raced through the building. His training in Observation had paid off as he could sense almost everything present in the coliseum type of the building.

He had been pretty doubtful when he was told that the human swordsmen in that world had been more skilled than his previous teacher, Okita Souji but he was soon forced to acknowledge the fact after witnessing the skills and strengths of the likes of Rayleigh and Roger when they were fighting.

This was not even mentioning how an Ultimate Class Devil like him was shown up by a human like Law.

Soon though he did come to respect them as his new teachers.

He raced towards the place where he sensed the device, bringing out the sword that Shin had given him.

The Arondight, from a different world. It left a very confused feeling in his heart.

He was over his hatred of Excalibur but this still felt weird for him.

That said, he was the best possible user for this sword due to its Holy Demonic nature after Shin himself.

He sensed an attack towards his left and dodged as a massive sword crashed towards the place he had been standing earlier.

A white-haired guy wearing a priest's uniform walked in with two swords in each hand.

"Well well, look who we have here. A little devil snuck in." he dawdled.

Yuuto didn't have time for him so he slashed towards him. He jumped back but a portal opened in space.

The Door Door Fruit imbued with the sword. His target was the place with the device which was locked in the range of his Observation.

He sent a flying slash towards the device, completely destroying it in the process.

The dimension cracked as he looked towards the priest in front of him, his sword grasped with both his hands. The priest was stunned for a moment before becoming enraged.

"Yes, what were you saying?" he asked as the priest gave an enraged cry before rushing towards him, his swords drawn.

Now he could fight without any distractions.

The surface of the blade was coated black as his Armament washed over it, he dashed from his place. The priest blocked the slash with his sword. That sword had a very strong demonic aura but it was not even close to the power of Arondight. He pushed his demonic power into the blade and it hummed completely breaking through the demonic sword in the priest's hand. The guy must not have expected this much power behind the blow but Yuuto didn't give him any chances either and picked up his next attack.

Learning from Souji-sensei taught him the way of the samurai while learning from Roger-sensei and Rayleigh-sensei taught him the way of the pirate. They each had their own honour. This fact was one even he couldn't deny. He had heard about the tales of Kozuki Oden. Their new member never stopped gushing about him despite never having met him before. She even showed him the Travel Diaries of Kozuki Oden and it was inspiring to read about the tales of such a man. Shin said that he seemed much more balanced after learning from Rayleigh and he agreed.

Apparently, balance was his thing.

The attack tore through the priest, cutting him from the left side of his waist to the right side of his neck. He fell down, trying to grab his necklace. A Phenex Tear, he noticed. He grabbed the bottle before he could drink.

Well, a pirate loots after defeating his foes.

He wondered how Souji-sensei would react to this new him.

- Meridith –

One minute?

That was a very small amount of time.

She needed to find out whatever the so-called device was and destroy it, not to mention whoever was guarding it. She was not a speed type dammit.

She however had been forced to learn that Haki thing and while the training had made her want to kill the Boss as well as that old man Rayleigh more times than she could even count, she wouldn't deny the advantages of it.

She still preferred her new Devil Fruit power. A fruit that came from that person. Even if he was a villain, their stories were ridiculously the same.

Royalty thrown away and seeking revenge. She had cringed so hard when the boss had pointed this out.

She was nothing like that creepy Doflamingo, she had shouted to his face but later after self-introspection, had realised that she might have easily become something like that if not something even worse. That realisation had been chilling to her to realise how much she was letting those bastards affect her life.

She was now a free person who had a life of her own. She was strong enough to raze the entirety of Britain alone if she went on a rampage and that was not even counting her Sacred Gear or her new powers. Then….why was she letting the thoughts about those ungrateful bastards affect her even now?

Why did she need their approval or their property?

She already had those things right here.

She had talked to her fellow bishop and a former princess Merlin and that had been eye opening.

Live her life for herself until she found something worth caring for.

After that she concentrated on developing her new powers.

She spread her strings around the area where she sensed the enemy. There was only one person, a girl in the area. Holy aura. The girl had something with a holy aura.

She felt the parasite string attach to the girl and flew up.

The girl, a blonde, looked in her direction and tried to move and say something but was paused in the action. Parasite string was boosted by the power of her Sacred Gear. She didn't give the girl any chance as she tied her up in a cocoon of string and hung her upside down from the ceiling of the room.

"Move and the strings will cut you into pieces. These strings are sharp enough to cut reinforced steel like butter. I wouldn't try my luck with it." She didn't mention that the string was imbued with the power of her Sacred Gear and would absorb any holy power used by the girl and tighten even more.

She summoned two holy nails and blasted through the device. The space cracked around her.

- Merlin –

Merlin appeared in the space with the device, a device that worked to enhance the power of the Sacred Gear and stabilise and strengthen the Dimension. This could work well for their new Room of Requirements. That just meant that she had to acquire the device without destroying it.

Aww. Just destroying the space would have been so much easier though apparently that was not allowed for various reasons.

She scanned the area and found the location of the Device and surprisingly enough around a dozen magicians guarding another child who was….creating these monsters and releasing them into the mist.

Annihilation Maker.

She had learned all about the Sacred Gears she could, especially the Longinus and this was one of the best ones she knew and was interested in and now to find it right in front of her.

She snapped a finger and a cube shaped barrier formed around the kid and another snap of her finger later, he fell asleep.

The Magicians were all blown away seconds later before even realising what was happening. She dispelled the magic around the Device using Absolute Cancel and just like that….she had a new research material and a subject for her new research subject.

The space around her started to crack as soon as the device was removed.

She quickly stored away both her loot quickly.

- Shion –

Shion rushed directly towards the building.

Her sensing skills had improved a lot in her training. Shin-sama had thoroughly trained her in her sensory skills to overcome her lack of awareness regarding her surroundings apparently.

She sensed the auras of the people in a direction and slashed using her sword, Hercules edge, sending a flying slash towards the building.

The building was cleaved in two as she spotted the Device along with a glasses wearing kid.

He was stunned into shock but as soon as he regained his bearing, he quickly raised both hands and mist came out of them, the same mist that was making this dimension.

Shion didn't bother waiting and slashed towards the boy.

Her slash was blocked by the mist, at least a part of it before the mist shattered and scattered away and the boy was knocked out in the resultant squall of the blast.

She rushed and slashed the device and the space around her cracked.

- Rossweisse –

Rossweisse looked at the mess in front of her and had an urge to face-palm.

She still tried to use words first. "Lord Loki. Please stop this madness. These people are terrorists. Don't besmirch Asgard's name by colluding with them."

She was awarded by a blast of magic thrown her way which she dodged. "Impudent Valkyrie. No….you are a devil now. How shameful. You have the courage to call me a traitor, talking to me about besmirching the name of Asgard? It is the likes of you and my Father who are colluding with other Pantheons and besmirching the name of Asgard. I am merely using these fools to stop such an atrocity."

"Please see reason, Lord Loki or we will be forced to subdue you." she called again with a frigid tone.

She sighed internally.

Her new working conditions were far better than the ones she had in Asgard but it seemed as if Asgard didn't want to let go of her so easily.

She would need help against the Dragon King clones and a God. Thankfully she got a new power exactly for situations like these.

The Soul Soul Fruit.

She had been pretty emotional when Shin had offered her this power. As a member of a Valkyrie family, her family specialised in spiritual spells. She unfortunately didn't inherit this power and was ignored by almost everyone in her family except for her granny. So when Shin offered her this particular power, she had been very genuinely grateful.

She brought out an orb that Merlin had made for her to collect the lifespan of enemies. It prevented her from wandering around in difficult situations. In this battle alone, she had more or less harnessed over five hundred and fifty devils and other supernatural beings, netting a lifespan of almost a million years.

This should be enough for her to create a bunch of familiars or Homies as they were once called.

She looked at the user of the Zenith Tempest who was fighting against two of the Dragon King clones who seemed to have been boosted by the snakes of Ophis and shouted.

"Mr. Dulio, can you please create five different elemental attacks, the strongest you can do."

The man pushed away the Dragon King clones and looked at her in surprise.

"I…."

"Please." She requested again.

"I can but I have been prohibited by Lord Michael from using my Sacred Gear's Balance Breaker as it can cause widespread destruction. We still have allies around us."

"That will not be a problem. I can manage that. Please. I have a way." She begged. She would have asked Akeno and the rest for this but they were busy trying to destroy the devices holding this dimension and locking everyone.

He looked a bit conflicted but nodded nonetheless, "I will stop however if you cannot hold it."

"That will be just fine." She nodded quickly.

"Balance Breaker."

"Inevitable Punishment of the Holy Angel's Rainbow, Shining Star of the End"

...

Thousands upon thousands of bubbles filled with elements covered the sky. Rossweisse concentrated on the orb of lifeforce and pushed her Demonic Power to the fullest.

She gritted her teeth as the heavy weight of all that power fell on her but still spread her range.

Separate the elements of each type.

Infuse lifeforce in each of them and when they gain sentience.

Name them.

The bubbles coalesced with others of the same element forming humongous spheres of pure elemental energy.

"I name you all Ventus, Fira, Aqua, Terra and Electra."

The names were completed and with that came out their forms as giants made of elements.

The entire battlefield was looking at her in stunned silence, even Loki was looking at the giants made up of elements with sheer apprehension and she obviously felt satisfied and a bit exhausted. She quickly downed a stamina potion and a magic potion to restore her energy.

"Now the playing field is balanced. We just need to hold up until the rest of the members return."

She commanded the elemental giants that would have made the giants from the Norse myths proud against the Dragon King clones. A battle of legends was about to take place.

- Vali –

Vali dodged back, throwing a spell towards Cao Cao. On second thought, he should have taken Dulio's help.

But then again, this was the type of fight he had always wanted to experience and he was not running.

'Divide' 'Divide' 'Divide' 'Divide' 'Divide' 'Divide' 'Divide' 'Divide' 'Divide' 'Divide' 'Divide' 'Divide'

He divided the space in front of him, creating a distortion in space as he tried to capture his opponent in the distortion, almost tearing an arm off from his enemy.

The worst part was that he couldn't get anywhere close to Cao Cao because of that Spear. Maybe he should pick up a weapon of some sort for the next time.

"You are as annoying as ever, Vali. Then again becoming a traitor is in your blood after all. Is this why your father threw you away so that you could backstab him when you grew up?"

A finger twitched and Vali crushed his temper ruthlessly to not make any stupid moves. All that his opponent needed was one strike with that spear and he would die. He didn't have much leeway but if it was a game of words, then two could play at that Game.

"At Least he didn't sell me away as yesterday's crap. How much do you go for nowadays, two dollars? Oh, it must be Yuan. What's the exchange rate?"

"BASTARD!" Cao Cao growled in anger.

"Takes one to know one." He smirked back.

His magic burst out. "You asked for this half-breed." He brought out an injection and smashed it into his neck. His power soared exponentially in that very instant. He pointed the spear towards him, holy aura surrounding him completely.

"Vali dodge that attack. You will not survive if you get hit by it." Albion's voice was heard but it was easier said than done. Kuroka was out deactivating the devices. The space they were trapped in was very small. There were cracks appearing in the space but he doubted that he would have a chance to dodge when the time-space barrier around the area broke.

"Truth Idea."

He divided the space around him quickly to distort the space and move away. The shine on the spear increased just as the ray of light was leaving the spear, he saw a figure appear right in front of him in the blink of an eye.

Twelve gigantic white wings spread out from the figure's back.

"By the Hope of the Fairies, awaken the Everdistant Utopia….Avalon."

He heard a familiar voice and it took him a moment to realise just who this figure was, her platinum blonde hair flowing wildly in the storm of energy she was facing as his eyes widened in realisation.

It was however too late. The light containing 'The Will of the Biblical God' crashed directly onto the girl. There was a massive collision and explosion of light as he watched in utter awe….the attack that could kill even Gods, disappear in front of the girl who stood still.

The entire battlefield quieted down for a moment, staring in shock at the girl who was still flying without a care in the world, completely unhurt by the attack of the Strongest Longinus.

She turned towards him with that same sleepy look, "Asking for help is not a sign of weakness silly. It just means that you have people you can trust your back to."

Vali felt quite lightheaded at the sudden turn of events.

- Gabriel –

She stared at the girl flying in the sky with twelve white wings behind her.

The silence in the room was suffocating.

It couldn't be anything else considering the sight they had just witnessed there.

The arrival of Loki and Fenrir alongside the Dragon King Clones and Fenrir's children was already a surprise. Lord Odin had been heavily disappointed. It reminded her of her own father and Helel back in Heaven.

The feeling of disappointment soon turned into disbelief when those five elemental giants appeared on the battlefield.

Lord Odin hadn't stopped looking at those elementals that were completely overpowering the dragons since the time they appeared and even helping the young Valkyrie fight off against Loki along with Dulio. He has yet to speak a single word.

The battlefield had taken drastic turns from that moment on and then the True Longinus user went ahead and did that….only for….the girl to simply….

She had stopped an attack from the True Longinus, something that held their father's will, something that could kill anyone in the room with an attack.

"W-what is she? How did she do that? Who is that girl? Her wings? Since when was there such a person? A Seraph with twelve wings?" Barakiel gasped at the scene.

The words he said were the ones thought out by everyone…. probably. She sent a secretive look towards the only person who looked unsurprised by the event and soon enough others followed that look to look at Shin-sama for the answer to their questions.

"I….this is a bit complicated. The boss will explain everything when he comes back. I am just a clone, let me be." He shook his head.

"But you know what happened there right?" Azazel continued.

"I do. That girl is like a little sister to the Boss, probably the first person he ever considered family and he made sure to give her whatever she needed to protect herself. The details will be a bit confusing so it will be better if he explains it himself."

"So, she isn't a Seraph?" Michael asked, slightly disappointed.

Maybe because Heaven had been weakened so much and there was no way for the Angels to reproduce. Even if Shin-sama had found a way to make new angels, Jibril was already an example, she was sure that many people wouldn't mind it and might even welcome Shin-sama.

"The holy power I felt from her that instant was something that very few angels have. How could she not be an Angel?" Barakiel complained.

"Hmm, how do I say this, she is….but she isn't. It's a bit completed. She was made a Seraph by the Boss. She isn't an angel of Heaven though. Boss thought that becoming an Angel would suit her best so he did that. On that thought hold on." He said as he watched the battlefield and looked towards Asia. "Go and heal our allies, Asia. The arrival of Loki and his group has caused too much damage to everyone."

The girl who had been sitting at the corner of the room with the little Damphir perked up as soon as she heard the voice. "Yes Shin-sama."

"Go all out Asia."

She clenched her fists and walked towards the window, a determined look on her face.

She stood right in front of the window, watching the entire battlefield before closing her eyes and clasping her hands.

"I am an Angel of the Lord."

Gabriel would be lying if she said that she didn't feel like she missed a heartbeat on hearing those worlds.

Golden Light emerged from her and twelve wings of pure white with a golden light appeared on her back with a golden halo on her head.

She felt everyone in the room still as the aura flowed around from her, pure Holy Energy. She was pretty sure that the girl had been a Devil just a moment ago.

She looked and saw Michael and Azazel were looking at her with the same look.

She closed her eyes and the sky lit up with a golden light, holy energy palpitating and filling up the very air but contrary to what they believed, none of the Devils felt discomfort from the said energy. It only made one feel warm and loved as the light covered and lit their bodies.

Suddenly pillars of light descended from the sky on each of the injured fighters on their side, completely surrounding them in the glow.

When the light faded away, the injuries on their bodies were completely gone.

….

….

….

….

The stunning silence descended on the room once more.

Azazel looked at Michael and then towards the girl….Asia Argento. "Michael, are you sure there haven't been any new angels registered in the Book of Angels?"

Michael hesitated for a moment but she knew that he hadn't checked the Book of Names because she checked it every day to see her own name at the end of the list….just like a newborn Angel.

"I-I have no idea brother. I haven't been able to check the book, preparing for the meeting" he shook his head.

To Gabriel however completely different words were echoing in her mind.

Shin-sama defending Asia Argento.

"Well, ask Uriel or Raphael to check." Azazel cried out.

"I don't think I can contact anyone in this dimension. I will still try." Michael used a communication magic circle.

"The boss and everyone are back." The clone of Shin-sama shouted, drawing their attention to the battlefield.

She looked as the wielder of the True Longinus had entered into a forced Balance Breaker mode and was charging towards the rest, Shin-sama appeared in between them and knocked him away with a slash of his sword.

"What is that sword? Such holy power! I don't think even Caliburn, the strongest holy sword that Arthur was using had that much holy power in it." Michael asked.

This time however Shin-sama's clone answered. "That's because Caliburn was modelled after Gram which was modelled after the sword that the Boss is using- Merodach, The Original Sin. It is a sword, a version of Merodach from a completely different world and to be honest, compared to this one, the Caliburn of this world is not even a proper toothpick. The weapons from that world are just insane. Top Tier insane I mean. It was a reward for the Boss but he couldn't find any other user who could control the sword's power. In terms of power alone, the sword is almost comparable to a Longinus."

"I have heard of that name. It was thought to be lost even before the Great War. I had ordered the blacksmiths to craft Gram as a memory of that sword." Lord Odin spoke finally after a long time.

"A sword comparable to a Longinus. I don't think even Excalibur had such high praise." Azazel remarked quite truthfully.

"Is that child Kuroka?" Lady Amaerasu asked, looking at the Nekoshou glowing with a silver white light.

"That kind of power….it is beyond that of a Satan Class." Ajuka Beelzebub who had finally gained the control of the dimension spoke after completing his job.

"She is holding back. Kuroka-chan is not even serious at this time." Serafall said calmly watching the fight. Then to explain further, "Kuroka-chan accidentally used a reward that was given to Shin by his patron. It was supposedly a power that would be suitable for the user and she gained this. The inheritance of a sage of some kind. I think Rias and Shin know more about it. Anyways, at her best, she could probably rival even a Super Devil from what I know. It's just that she hasn't managed to master that power yet."

"So this is not the power of a Devil Fruit?" Azazel asked.

"No, no it's not." she shook her head while Lady Amaterasu and Yasaka watched her with bright eyes.

"Just what kind of work did Shin do to deserve that reward."

"Saved the world from a megalomaniac who was about to sacrifice everyone in the world and use that power to try and ascend to Godhood." Serafall spoke, making everyone freeze.

"Sacrifice the whole world!?"

"That madman had already broken the leylines and sealed the magic of the entire world for almost a thousand years. In Fact Shin wanted to talk to Yasaka-dono about healing the Leylines and if Kuroka could learn that. A major part of Shin's territory is in the area."

….

"Looks like the kids have stopped holding back. Sirzechs' your little sister has grown. She could probably take on the big fighters in Asgard easily now." Lord Odin caressed his beard while looking at the fight. The girl in subject, was controlling a massive ball of destruction and dragging everything around her into it.

The Asmodeus descendant stood no chance against such an attack.

The other Leviathan girl was even more effective as enormous water dragons completely and savagely took out the opponent.

The Red Dragon Empress girl was suppressing Fenrir in her Balance Breaker Mode while the white haired Nekoshou and the White Tiger girl were doing the same to Fenrir's children.

"You will not win. I have the Will of God with me. I carry this spear to fight the war he started." The wielder of the True Longinus shouted as his attacks grew vicious but was easily repelled by Shin-sama.

Shin-sama pushed him out to a distance and stood up in the air.

"The Will of God Eh? Well since he started this war, as you say it….Let me use his own words, to end it as well and establish peace."

Suddenly as if listening to his words, the winds of the entire place stopped. A whirlpool grew in the sky just like with Serafall's new Knight.

His wings quickly retracted back into his back and with a glow of light, pure White Wings, a whole twelve of them emerged from his back.

Gabriel found her breath stuck in her throat. She looked on in awe and anticipation as he looked towards the downed opponent with a neutral look. It was a look her Father carried into battle.

No hatred for his enemies, just his duty.

He raised his sword Merodach towards the True Longinus user.

The ground below the place he was at, lit up and spread all over the battlefield. Rock or stone, dust or plants, everything lit up and changed into motes of pure light.

Gabriel found herself on her knees at the scene in front of her.

She had once more seen the light.

The light she had thought was lost forever.

And then he said those words. ."Let there be light."

….

….

….

….

And then there was light.

Author's Note:

This one was hard.

Too many POVs to manage. I tried my best. We saw the effect of the butterflies in this fight. It seems that Shin was very correct to prepare the best he could.

As for the Devices thing, two things, this is a slightly different universe which I had already stated in the earlier chapters and second, a similar thing was done in canon too so this was not out of line.

Why did Cao Cao use the drug/Ophis' snake?

He was cornered. He either runs away or is ripped apart by everyone. PS. Vali was savage in his comeback.

So how did you all like the powerups?

The best part will come when dealing with these powerups later on.

The reason why they were holding back was so as to not spook the users of the three Longinus and cause them to escape or almost a quarter of the people present there could have destroyed the entire dimension. As soon as the user of Dimension Lost was caught, they went all out quickly.

Anyways, I tried to put the chapter together properly. If you don't understand anything, please ask. I appreciate constructive criticism.

I have a channel at Shiro's Gaming Omniverse along with many other writers. **Server Invite:** disc ord . gg / wd3tUYWVCd

You can join in and ask your doubts if you want. I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities. Have fun.

PS. - Stupid comments like, this is dumb, I'm leaving are not constructive criticism. [BN: I second this]

Enjoy the new chapter.

Good Day, Peace Out.
