Chapter 84 - Ch 83 - Loki is Frost Giant?

Asgard – The Palace

The grand halls of Asgard, usually filled with music, feasts, and the pleasant hum of chatter, were now drowned in an uproar of disbelief and amusement. The people of Asgard were having far too much fun today.

At first, they had come expecting a simple gathering—a normal assembly, perhaps even a celebration. But no. What they had witnessed was a spectacle beyond imagination.

Seph had appeared.

Odin had thrown a feast.

And yet, no one could have predicted the sheer madness that followed.

First, Seph casually conjured a screen in the air, revealing an embarrassing scene—Thor, the mighty God of Thunder, being thoroughly humiliated on Midgard.

The crowd gasped and then howled with laughter.

They watched as their golden prince was tasered by a mortal girl with an electric gun. The Mighty God of Thunder was actually hit by the same element wielded by him.

Then they saw him getting beaten by a mortal in iron armor.

They watched as he was blown back by a mortal wielding a mere shield.

It was a feast for their eyes. A sight so rare, so absurd, that the entire palace nearly shook with the weight of their amusement.

Then came another twist.

Odin, their revered king, the All-Father himself, had scolded Thor like a child. In front of everyone!

Publicly!

He threatened to strip away his power.

To take his hammer.

To banish him to Midgard.

The hall fell into stunned silence at first, but then... realization struck.

Midgard.

The mortal world.

A land of cold winters, where the young women who once wore short skirts and light dresses had to wrap themselves in thick coats. A land where there was nothing to see!

"By the gods! If Thor is banished to Midgard, it will be a tragedy!" Someone in the crowd murmured.

"What will he do there? Watch mortals struggle to light fires and build tiny houses out of stone?"

"Ha! He won't even have the luxury of Asgardian women dressing for the eternal spring here!"

Laughter rang through the halls.

But just when they thought Thor's suffering was the highlight of the day...

A greater revelation fell upon them.

Loki.

The silver-tongued prince.

The cunning trickster.

The one who had always stood beside Thor.

The one who had been raised as a prince of Asgard.

Was not an Asgardian at all.

The silence that followed was deafening.

Loki was adopted.

He was never meant to inherit the throne.

He was never meant to rule.

A murmur spread like wildfire through the crowd.

"By the Norns... if Loki is adopted, that means—"

"He was never in line for the throne."

"Never meant to be king."

"His fate was sealed the moment Odin took him in!"

"Poor child... he spent his whole life thinking he had a chance."

And then, a voice called out.

"I think it's unfair! Loki is the real prince in my heart!"

Another joined in.

"I choose Loki! He is the one we should support!"

Then another.

And another.

"Loki! Loki! Loki!"

"Loki! Loki! Loki!"

"Loki! Loki! Loki!"

A chant rose from the crowd.

It was unexpected. Wild. Almost rebellious.

Thor stood frozen, horror gripping his chest.

How had this happened?

Just moments ago, he had been embarrassed by the visions of Midgard. And now?

Now the people of Asgard were cheering for Loki?!

Loki, the Frost Giant?

Thor's stomach twisted.

He turned to his brother—his supposed brother.

Loki was standing calmly among the chaos, a small smirk playing on his lips. His eyes gleamed with mischief, but there was something deeper there. Something Thor couldn't quite grasp.

Loki wasn't furious.

Loki wasn't devastated.

Loki looked... entertained.

Thor swallowed hard. He had made a terrible mistake today.

His own foolishness had led to this. He had been so quick to escape his own embarrassment that he had carelessly revealed Loki's truth without thinking.

And now?

Now everything was spiraling out of control.

Odin sat upon his throne, his face an unreadable mask. His heart, however, was troubled. He had planned to tell Loki the truth someday—but not like this. Not in front of the entire court.

Now, the damage was done.

He could see it in Thor's posture. The guilt.

And he could see it in the crowd. The shift.

Loki was now the people's prince.

What a dangerous turn of fate.

Frigga, the gentle Queen, placed a hand over her chest. Her heart ached for her son—her true son, not by blood, but by love.

She had always feared this day.

The day Loki would learn the truth.

But not like this.

Never like this.

She longed to embrace him, to tell him that he was still her child, that nothing had changed. But she knew—Loki would not come to her.

Not now.

Not yet.

Hela, seated off to the side, watched it all unfold with an amused expression.

She leaned forward, resting her chin on her palm.

"What an interesting turn of events," She murmured, her voice laced with dark amusement.

Thor, the golden prince, was humiliated.

Loki, the adopted son, rising in popularity.

Odin, watching helplessly as his carefully crafted kingdom began to shift beneath him.

Hela let out a soft chuckle. She wasn't sure whether she should laugh louder or simply sit back and enjoy the show.

And then, there was Seph.

Seph, the one who had started it all.

The one who had summoned the screen.

The one who had peeled back the layers of lies and deception and laid everything bare.

As he watched the chaos unfold, a small smirk tugged at his lips.

"This is much more fun than I expected," He murmured to himself.

Oh, he had known there would be drama.

But this?

This was delicious.

A single revelation had turned the great halls of Asgard into a battlefield of emotions.

And Seph?

He was thoroughly enjoying the show.

The air inside the grand palace was thick with tension. The golden walls, usually symbols of strength and eternal glory, now seemed to close in as the weight of Odin's words settled over the gathered Asgardians.

Odin stood tall, his voice deep and steady, yet there was an uncharacteristic softness in his tone as he slowly spoke to his people.

"After the battle with the Frost Giants, I walked into the temple and found a baby."

His gaze swept across the hall, his single eye filled with something unreadable—regret, perhaps?

"The young offspring of the giants, abandoned, helpless… waiting to fend for himself. He was the son of Laufey."

A deafening silence followed. And then—

BOOM!

The entire hall erupted into chaos.

Gasps. shouts and stunned whispers.

"WHAT?!"
