As the morning came, Anna's eyes flung open; she didn't remember falling asleep, especially since there was so much on her mind last night. Soon, she realised that there was a person's arm over her, which frightened her for a second.
"Who the...
"Good morning," Kael's voice cut her off immediately, and seeing that she was slightly uncomfortable he withdrew his hand from around her and faced the other direction.
"I thought he said he wasn't going to sleep in here last night?" Anna wondered, taking a deep breath to stop her heart from beating so fast and giving her fear away.
"Good morning," she replied,
"Sorry, I was only startled because I didn't know when you came in last night."
"No need to apologise," he answered,
"I only came in an hour ago, so I didn't spend the night here at all. After breakfast, you should take a walk to the east wing of the castle, watch a few of the knights train and learn a thing or two about the sword. I will come by later."
