Kael looked around him. All that he could see was dead Sirens scatted across the floor; these mermaids with feet had gone too far to invade his realm, so he did not relent in killing anyone he came across.
There were hundreds of them, and it felt as though they increased in number faster than he could kill them. Good thing he had an army of over a thousand men who fought for the realm in this sudden blood bath.
"My lord!" One of the knights fell at Kaels feet, his hands shaking with trepidation and his eyes looking like he had seen an abomination.
They were outside the castle, in a place where the conflict was less fierce, and where most of the inhabitants had run to for safety.
