And he walked over to the couches and took a seat on the three-seater. Mrs. Sinclair also stepped away from Kaelith's front and sat down as well.
Kaelith was utterly confused at this point. He knew Mr. Sinclair didn't particularly like Leonhardt, which was why he had concocted a lie about how he managed his heat. But he never expected him to figure it out—or had he not? How exactly did he know that he was with Leonhardt?
Kaelith was still lost in his thoughts until he was brought back by Mr. Sinclair's voice and words.
"You are going to stop going to college and instead enroll in a part-time program so you can study from home."
"What?" Kaelith was dumbfounded. He looked at his father with a shock-filled expression. He turned to Mrs. Sinclair, but she averted her gaze, as though she had no say in the matter.
Kaelith stuttered, "I-I m-mean, why? What did I do so wrong that you'd tell me to stay h-home? For fucking what?"
