[demon realm]
[I6' S P.O.V]
Bang! Bang!
I heard noises of the metal doors coming open in the darkness; I slowly opened my eyes to see the figure of the person who walked up to me.
''Hay-- get up!'' A really muscular guard said kicking me, I wouldn't blame him anyway I looked pretty dead and maybe he was checking if I was still alive, his kick did really hurt though but I was ordered to never scream or cry.
I stood slowly only to fall back to the floor.
''I said get up!'' He barked and kicked me again right were my body got too burnt, why did I expect this purely evil demon to pity a five year old child? I thought while I groaned in extreme pain clutching my abdomen rolling on the ground.
============
My queen here is the boy the guard said and then the lady in a dark dress turned to them, I was standing not far away from her I could tell by how close her sent was to me, in a black burnt cloak that only covered my right shoulder, torso to my thighs, half of my body and my face was me, her face twisted in disgust at the sight of him.
''We go to the human realm today'' inform everyone she instructed the guard, he bowed before being excused. In the dimly lit room it was just me and Mrs. Lucinda.
''You, we are going to another realm and usually I'd just lock you up but you seem to be getting stronger perfect for business'', oh yes she said walking closer and closer to me, '' don't you ever dare touch any of my children''. Thou she said this calmly there was great impact in her words.
Not long after my little talk with Lucinda I was sent back to my room [a small space under the stairs of the servant quarters], there wasn't really much to pack just some sets of cloches and masks, a guitar I made myself out of a tin box some strings and a twig.
As I packed something fell out of my cloak it made a ting sound as it hit the ground. Based on the sound it made when it fell-- I easily knew where I was, I was blind but it only made my other scene dead sharp. I walked over and picked it up, it was the ring I had on me since I could remember.
For Some reason it reminded me of my mother even though I didn't know who she was, I never dared take it out with me because I feared Lucinda would take it from me or it would be damaged while I was being punished, it was the only thing I had of my birth mum.
The material it was made of felt like gold and it had inscriptions, my fingers glided through the letters-- my own way of reading; it spelt ALIA and TORAN inside a heart shape while under said forever, Alia was probably my mother's name but who was toran?.
My father's name was Eric not that I regarded him as that so who was the other person in this love inscription? Thinking about it only got me frustrated so I put the ring back in my bag.
If you're wondering who I am I don't know either so--, anyway all I know about myself is I'm a curse, my mother died the first day I was born, I was brought back to my father and his first wife Lucinda who made me a slave, my name- servant sixteen is what I was called. My dad cared too little or maybe not at all to notice me, but I didn't care either to think about it, as for my mother's death it was still a mystery I promised myself to uncover.
I joined the line of servants but on getting to the floor to ceiling doors with withered vines I was stopped by Franklyn and escorted to the back of the house where I saw a metal truck [resembling those used by US to transport wanted fugitives or serial killers] by the sides stood two guards.
They opened the doors and clamped both got in and clamped my wrists to chains attached to the truck walls. I didn't know how we got here mostly because the truck had no luxury of windows plus I'm blind -but we were somewhere different, it didn't have that dark magic smell, I had been here before we were in the Gomez mansion – Mr. Eric Gomez house.
All servants to your quarter's lights out at twilight! A grim voice said.
The servants quarters was no less than the gutters, it was so broken down and rusty, I could feel, touch, smell and sense it. I was blind but I made use of other senses to picture things in my mind, it was usually dark in there because I had no dreams, memories or taught to fill it up, anything I touch taste or feel I would picture it.
I it also gave me to notice change in my environment, weather something felt off or not and detect attacks, change in someone's mood or facial expression, I called it sixth sense.
I'd been here before; the first was when I was a baby Adele my mother's maid found me by my mother's dead body and returned me to MR. Eric who stood by his door gazing down at me with disgust, that was the last thing I ever saw; the look of piercing hatred my father gave me.
The second time was when I was three years; I taught Lucinda was my mother seeing she was married to my father and her sons I saw as my brothers, I tried everything to win MR. Eric's favor too little to understand I was actually a servant.
I still remember where everything was placed. My room was slightly worse here seeing it was behind the quarter's kitchen a small store not even big enough for me to fit in properly, I was the son of the top fifth richest billionaire how laughable given my current situation.
The room had leaky pipes rusted nails and moss growing by the sides of the wall. I was already used to it; closing my eyes I taught of the future, would I be blind forever? Would I remain MRS. Lucinda servant? ----- .
==============
When I woke up this morning, all male servants were sent down to the back house, it was dark and reeked of something terrible but when the guard turned the lights back on I instantly recognized the scent.
BLOOD! The whole room reeked of blood.
In the center of the room a black podium stood where white chalk rounded it in a circle, a book was placed atop the podium, I felt a strong energy coming from that book, it was whispering in a grim horse voice to him which made a ringing in his ears. It made his head hurt and soul ignite with fire.
The book's cover was made of blood which oozed out dripping on the floor as it wrote more pages of dark spells. A pile of dead lay before him, innocent people whose lives were cut short by Lucinda, this was her conjuring room, our job was to safely transport lucinda's spell stuff to a safe house. I sat by two hefty men after the bodies were loaded they were five times my height and twenty times my size. After a while of driving the truck suddenly stopped seemingly due to a flat tire.
Hay kid! A gruff voice called-- go to the far end of the forest and get water from that stream he ordered. It was an overheating engine not a flat tire, as instructed I went into the forest using my senses to move around this unfamiliar place.
There were chirpings of birds I've never heard before and strange sounds making the forest seem alive. Upon approaching the stream I heard a noise I wanted to ignore it but something in me wanted to follow it so I did, soon it became clearer that it was soft sobbing and in no time I stood behind a small figure sitting on a rock, I wanted to say something but I couldn't.
My instincts told me to just leave but just as I turned around I stepped on a twig accidently, the sound caught the person's attention.
''Who's there?'' A soft voice said.
I'm guessing she heard that, I could have walked away but I turned and what happened next stunned me.
I could see and I was so dumbfounded I didn't realize I could now see, under my cloche part of the blood seal glowed golden, the girl standing before me had puffy black baby curls that rested perfectly on her shoulders and it bounced as she moved.
Her golden brown eyes shone with pure innocence, the caramel color of her skin reflected in the light brightly, the light features of her face could make anyone's heart melt.
'She's beautiful' I said subconsciously.
Who's pretty?'' The girl asked looking around for the person not knowing I was talking about her.
