Mirabel sat on her bed, pen in hand, writing in her diary. "Life's really tough, it's filled with rollercoasters of emotions; emotions that are hard to deal with, emotions that bring peace, emotions that bring anger, emotions that bring disappointment, and emotions that bring uncertainty. I've experienced most of the emotions life can offer, and I'm at a point where I don't even know what to feel, how I feel, what to feel, or how to feel it. I expected my journey in life to be smooth, with all the happiness, love, and protection I received from my parents when I was little. But as they say, you get to be young only once, and once it's over, it's time to face the real life, the real stage, the real race... adulthood."

She paused, reflecting on her thoughts. "I'm so confused right now. I don't know what to do. On one hand, I have a chance to start afresh, a chance to feel real love, a chance to love someone again. On the other hand, I have my past, the heartbreaks, the pain, the torment, and my vow. What step should I take? What should I do? What decision should I make? If I choose love, what's the assurance that I won't be left behind again? If I choose not to love, will I ever be happy again?"

Mirabel dropped her pen and closed her diary. She lay down on her bed, staring at the white ceiling. As she closed her eyes, Vicky's face flashed through her mind. She saw him coming close to her, his gaze penetrating deep into her soul and heart. But the image shifted, and she saw herself in the room where she caught Charles cheating. She shivered and started trembling. She runs out of the room and then sees Vicky again, as she moves closer to him , he Vanished. She searches for him and then finds him with another Lady..., she runs to him, grabbing him by his arm and pulling him towards her but he didn't move. She wept and kept on pulling him but he still didn't move, he looks at her and says, " it wasn't meant to end this way....".

Suddenly, Mirabel sat up, screaming at the top of her lungs. Nanny rushed into her room, concern etched on her face. "Mirabel, what's wrong? Why did you scream?" Nanny asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.

Mirabel was shaking, her breathing fast, and her eyes teary. She hugged Nanny tightly. "No... no... it can't end this way..." Nanny comforted her, gently stroking her hair. "What's wrong, Mirabel? Why are you shaking? Did you have a nightmare?"

Mirabel slowly calmed down. "Nanny, I'm scared," she said, her voice shaky. "What are you afraid of? Tell me," Nanny asked. "I don't want to feel lonely again, Nanny. I don't want to be left behind again," Mirabel replied.

Nanny's voice was soft and encouraging. "You're not lonely, dear. I'm and will always be by your side." Mirabel looked up at Nanny. "Nanny, I love Vicky, but I'm afraid that he's going to leave me. He's going to break my heart."

Nanny sighed. "What makes you think so?" she asked. "I saw it, Nanny. I saw him leaving me," Mirabel replied. Nanny's expression was understanding. "Look, I know your fear and what you're going through. But don't let your past experience ruin your hopes for the future. The reason you saw him leaving you was because you kept thinking about Charles and his betrayal, and you imagined Vicky doing the same."

Nanny paused, looking at Mirabel intently. "Talk to him, tell him what you feel. Let him know your fear, let him feel your pain. Don't do away with your feelings for him just because you're afraid. Take a shot, Mirabel. Let him know what you're feeling on the inside."

Mirabel nodded, feeling a little lighter. "But doesn't that make me vulnerable?" she asked. Nanny smiled. "No, it won't. Just give it a try. Don't let this chance slip away from you. Embrace the shot at feeling true love, my darling."

Mirabel hugged Nanny tightly. "Thank you," she whispered. Nanny smiled and stood up. "Okay, I'll go prepare lunch. Please don't stress yourself." As Nanny left the room, Mirabel stood up and took a deep breath. She picked up her phone and called Dianne.

"Hello, Dianne. How's your weekend coming up?" Mirabel asked. Dianne replied, "Good afternoon, ma'am. My weekend has been great. How are you doing?" Mirabel smiled. "I'm good. Please can you quickly do something for me?" Dianne asked, "Sure ma'am, what do you need?"

Mirabel took a deep breath. "Vicky's number." Dianne's tone was curious. "Vicky's number?" Mirabel nodded, even though Dianne couldn't see her. "Yes, please send it to me."

"Okay, ma'am, I will send it to you," Dianne said. "Thank you," Mirabel replied, ending the call. She looked at her phone, a sense of determination washing over her. "It's high time I truly let go of the past," she said to herself, leaving her room.
