Author's Note:
Apologies if the story seems too focused on war scenes and conflicts with aliens. I will try to explore more character interactions, especially in the family context, to provide a more balanced tone moving forward. Thank you for your understanding!
After everyone was successfully evacuated to the Gloriana-class ship, it set course back to the capital, Terra Aeterna. Upon arriving at the massive orbital station above the planet, the task of overseeing the construction and administration was handed over to the Adeptus Senoritas and Saint Celestine to ensure everything proceeded smoothly.
As the ship began its descent through the atmosphere, the crew and evacuees looked out the windows in awe, witnessing the magnificent view of the capital below. The towering spires of Terra Aeterna rose high into the sky, while the streets below were filled with activity. In the center of the city, a grand palace stood shining brightly, symbolizing the power and glory of the Imperium Caelestis.
Lord Morgan, standing beside the others, remained unaffected by the view. "Let them rage. They're only seeking their own deaths," he said flatly, unaffected by the recent rebellion. To him, the weak would always collapse due to their own arrogance.
As the ship neared the surface, Morgan, Mark, Ran Bing, Jing Nan, Erica, Fan Di, Penny, Jessica, and Bai Yuekui all gazed out the window with wonder. They had never seen anything like this before. The scale of the city, the advanced technology, and the faces of the citizens full of joy were all incredibly impressive. Below them, people were busy with their lives, living with freedom and purpose. This was a world so different from the one they knew.
At the heart of the city, a massive palace stood proudly, surrounded by great walls that not only served as protection but also symbolized the power and unity of the Imperium Caelestis. The palace itself was a marvel of architecture, with its gold exterior reflecting the sunlight in all directions. Surrounding the palace was a vast area designated for the civilian population—so different from the primitive life they had known in Ling Cage.
As they disembarked from the ship, the people from Ling Cage felt self-conscious, especially when comparing their primitive clothing to the advanced attire worn by the citizens of Imperium Caelestis. They began following the instructions of the Stormtroopers for relocation, starting to adapt to this new life.
Kenthelion assigned Mark and his team to Chris Redfield and Carlos Oliveira, who would oversee their training in survival tactics and combat skills for this new, harsher world.
Morgan, on the other hand, began studying the administration of Imperium Caelestis to assist in the development of the city in Ling Cage. His expertise would be invaluable in designing the upcoming construction projects.
Kenthelion also instructed Ran Bing, Jing Nan, Erica, Fan Di, Penny, Jessica, and Bai Yuekui to join Alice,Ada Wong and Claire Redfield,
In the Caelestis Imperium Palace
When Kenthelion arrived at the palace with the girls, they were immediately escorted to the royal family's private area. The girls gazed in awe at the magnificent architecture of the palace, clearly impressed and curious about their new surroundings.
"Feel free to explore for a while. I'll take you on a tour later," Kenthelion said as he walked toward one of the private rooms.
Inside, he found Angela casually sitting in front of a large holographic screen, watching a virtual show while playing a game with interactive gloves. The holographic screen hovered in mid-air, displaying an incredibly detailed and immersive virtual world, and Angela seemed completely absorbed in it.
Kenthelion frowned as he noticed her.
"Isn't it time for the academy? Why is she still here, goofing off?" he thought, irritated.
Before he could say anything, Angela, spotting him, immediately jumped toward him with a wide grin. Despite her small size, she was able to leap with impressive agility, thanks to the enhancement serum that every citizen of the Caelestis Imperium was required to receive.
Since the incident in the Resident Evil world, Angela had mysteriously stuck close to Carlos Oliveira and Jill Valentine. Jill, still obsessed with being a police officer, rarely returned to the palace, whereas Alice, Ada Wong, and Claire frequently came back.
Now, Angela called Kenthelion "big brother" and acted like a spoiled little princess within the palace.
"Angela, are you okay here? Why aren't you attending the academy? If you don't study, the evil aliens will catch you!" Kenthelion scolded her.
Angela shrugged lightly. "They're all busy, big brother. You're the one who told Alice and the others to handle the issues with the mechanicus oil and the forces from other dimensions, right?"
Kenthelion paused, surprised by her response. Apparently, Angela knew quite a bit about what was going on. But before he could respond, he planned to introduce the girls accompanying him.
However, Angela's sharp glare immediately caught his attention.
Her look seemed to say, 'Another new girl? What a lowlife.'
Kenthelion broke into a cold sweat. "Angela," he said slowly, trying to change the mood, "This is Ran Bing, Jing Nan, Erica, Fan Di, Penny, Jessica, and Bai Yuekui. They will be helping Alice, Claire, Ada, and Jill with important tasks."
Angela huffed softly but still introduced herself with a flat tone. "Hello, I'm Angela. Little sister of Big Brother. Welcome to the palace. I hope you all enjoy your stay." Her voice carried a hint of authority, as if she had been in charge here for a long time.
The women, now introduced to Angela, greeted her warmly, and surprisingly, they became fast friends. Kenthelion could only sigh inwardly, still baffled by how quickly they formed close bonds.
Now that they were in the family area, Kenthelion decided to shrink his body down to a more human-like size, around 1.8 meters, so he wouldn't stand out too much. If the Emperor of Mankind can disguise himself as an ordinary human, why can't I? he thought with a small smile.
