Chapter 7: Captain Morgan's Justice

«-------------------------------------------»

In a small, dimly lit room, the blue glow of the system screen shimmered in front of Arlen.

He stared at the final sentence of the chapter, then slowly leaned back in his chair.

Outside, the night was quiet. His apartment was silent except for the occasional buzz of an old ceiling fan. The smell of warm instant noodles hung faintly in the air, untouched beside his desk.

A moment passed.

Arlen stretched his arms, rolled his shoulders, and hit [Upload].

The story was now live on StarNovel.

He took a breath.

Then the comments began appearing.

[Reader: BookLover123]

Holy crap. Zoro's introduction gave me chills.

[Reader: BlueSkyOtaku]

Luffy feeding Zoro the dirty rice balls? Classic.

[Reader: KaizokuDreamer]

Zoro's promise, Luffy's smile, and that last line—"Welcome aboard."

[Reader: MysticDawn]

I ain't complaining. TAKE MY STONES.

Arlen's lips curved slightly.

He didn't reply to the comments. He never did.

He just watched, silently, as the reader count climbed.

Within the Novel

Shells Town was in chaos.

The courtyard echoed with shouting Marines and heavy boots thudding across stone. Captain Morgan stood tall at the center, towering with his oversized axe-arm, face twisted in fury.

"You dare attack my base?!"

Zoro, swords drawn, stepped in front of Luffy.

"We're not the ones playing pirates in uniforms," he muttered.

Morgan raised his axe. "I am justice! I am the law!"

Luffy yawned. "You talk too much."

Morgan charged.

Zoro moved first, blocking the axe with two blades while spinning to the side. His body was still weak from days without food, but his movements held deadly precision.

Luffy sprinted straight into the brawl, dodging a rifle shot with a side-step, then uppercutting a Marine into the air.

"Get them!" Morgan roared. "All of them!"

Dozens of Marines surrounded them.

Zoro grinned through the sword held between his teeth. "I'll cut a path."

Luffy cracked his knuckles. "I'll punch one."

They moved.

Luffy launched into the nearest group, his punches sending bodies flying. He didn't hesitate—grabbing rifles, tossing them aside, leaping into the air to slam into the crowd.

Zoro dashed forward, slashing in an elegant, brutal rhythm. He spun low, blade flashing under legs and across chests.

It was chaos.

Then Morgan roared again, axe aimed at Zoro's back.

Coby screamed, "Zoro! Behind you!"

Zoro turned too slow.

The axe came down—

But stopped mid-swing.

Luffy's foot had caught it.

Morgan's eyes widened.

"You—"

Luffy grinned. "I'm made of rubber."

And then he punched Morgan in the jaw so hard the Captain flew across the courtyard and slammed into a wall, unconscious.

Silence.

The remaining Marines dropped their weapons.

Zoro sheathed his swords slowly.

"Didn't think I'd be fighting Marines on my first day as a pirate," he muttered.

Luffy just laughed. "Fun, right?"

Coby stepped into the clearing, hesitating. "What happens now?"

Zoro looked around. "The base is a mess. We should go before the real chain of command shows up."

Luffy looked at Coby. "What about you?"

Coby stared at the Marine flag fluttering in the wind.

"I still want to be a Marine," he said. "But a real one. Like the kind that fights for people, not for pride."

Zoro shrugged. "Your call."

Luffy placed a hand on Coby's shoulder. "You'll do it. I believe in you."

Coby looked down. "…Thanks."

An hour later, a small boat left Shells Town's harbor.

Zoro sat at the front, swords laid beside him, staring out at the sea.

Luffy leaned back with his arms behind his head, hat tilted up toward the clouds.

"So," Zoro asked, "what now?"

"Now," Luffy said, "we find a cook. And a navigator. And more nakama."

Zoro smirked. "You have no plan."

"Exactly."

They drifted on, the sea wide and blue ahead.

A single ship, two crewmates.

The journey had just begun.

Back in Arlen's Room

The comment section exploded.

[Reader: SenzuBoi]

THAT FINAL SCENE. "We find a cook." The setup is perfect.

[Reader: DustyPages]

Morgan got folded like an omelette. Zoro and Luffy's chemistry is on point.

[Reader: TimeLooped]

I can't believe this book only has 400 readers. This deserves 400,000.

[Reader: WritingSensei]

This is masterful pacing.

Arlen didn't type a single word.

He just stared at the stream of messages with a faint smile on his face, then whispered—

"…On to the next chapter."
