Viviana glanced at the clothes Gong had brought her, a small smile tugging at her lips. The simple, casual attire was a far cry from the designer outfits she was accustomed to wearing at the Linh mansion. She appreciated the thoughtfulness behind Gong's gesture, a reminder that not everyone judged her by her former status.
"Thank you, Gong. You're very kind," she said, taking the clothes from him.
She closed the door and began to change, the soft fabric of the shirt and sweatshirt a comforting contrast to the stiff, luxurious materials she was used to. The ripped jeans hugged her curves in a way that made her feel both rebellious and free.
As she slipped on the sneakers, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. For the first time in her life, she was dressed like a normal teenager, without the weight of expectations or judgment.
She grabbed her backpack and headed out the door, Tun Tun trotting beside her. Gong was waiting by the truck, a gentle smile on his face.
"Are you ready, Seventh Miss?" he asked, holding the door open for her.
Viviana nodded, a determined glint in her golden eyes.
"Uncle Gong I would like to eat," Vivi said as she pointed at her flat stomach. Her goal in life is eat, sleep, eat, sleep, and slack off!
Gong chuckled softly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. He had grown fond of Viviana's simple, carefree nature, a stark contrast to the spoiled, entitled attitude of her brothers and sister.
"Alright then, let's find you something to eat," he said, closing the truck door behind her.
They drove to a nearby diner, the warm aroma of coffee and fried food filling the air as they stepped inside. Viviana's stomach growled in anticipation, her eyes scanning the menu with eager interest.
"What do you recommend, Uncle Gong?" she asked, her voice tinged with excitement.
Gong smiled, amused by her enthusiasm. He gestured to a waitress and ordered a variety of dishes pancakes, bacon, eggs, and a side of hash browns.
As they waited for their food, Viviana couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her. She did not like pancakes or waffles or even many berries but she got a breakfast burrito.
Viviana's eyes widened as the waitress set the steaming breakfast burrito in front of her, the aroma of scrambled eggs, cheese, and spicy sausage filling the air. She picked it up eagerly, taking a large bite without hesitation. The flavors exploded in her mouth, a perfect blend of savory and spicy that made her taste buds dance with joy.
"This is delicious," she murmured, her mouth full of food. She polished off the burrito in record time, her golden eyes shining with satisfaction.
Gong watched her with a mixture of amusement and fondness, shaking his head at her enthusiasm.
"You certainly have an appetite, Seventh Miss," he teased, pushing his own plate of pancakes towards her.
"Mmm I like eating, slacking off, and sleeping," Vivi said and Gong was speechless her six brothers are all weirdo and now the only girl is also added to the mix how weird.
Gong couldn't help but laugh at Viviana's blunt admission, his eyes crinkling at the corners. He had never met anyone quite like her a girl who embraced her love for simple pleasures with such unapologetic enthusiasm.
"You're a rare breed, Seventh Miss," he said, shaking his head in wonder.
As they finished their meal, Gong paid the bill and they headed back to the truck. Viviana climbed into the passenger seat, her stomach full and content. She leaned back against the headrest, a soft sigh escaping her lips.
"Uncle Gong, do you think my family will like me?" she asked suddenly, her voice tinged with a hint of vulnerability.
"Seventh Miss, what do you know about your family?"
"Dirt poor, my father is drug addicted, my mother is a gambler, my six brothers are all hopeless uneducated people, grandparents near to their death," Vivi said. Gong could not help but laugh because that was not true at all.
"I will tell you about your family and let me tell you this your parents aren't poor at all they are filthy rich."
"Okay tell me."
"Alright I will tell you about the Rosenzweig."
Vivi nodded her head she wanted to learn about her family.
Gong took a deep breath, his expression turning serious as he began to recount the history of the Rosenzweig family.
"The Rosenzweigs are one of the wealthiest and most influential dynasties in the country," he started, his voice low and steady.
"They have their fingers in every pie from real estate and finance to entertainment and politics."
He glanced at Viviana, gauging her reaction before continuing.
"Your father, Richard Rosenzweig, is a selfmade billionaire. He started with nothing and built an empire from the ground up. Your mother, Elizabeth, comes from old money her family's fortune dates back generations. Same with your father."
Gong paused, a hint of admiration in his voice.
"They're a formidable pair, your parents. They've weathered countless storms and come out stronger every time."
He turned to face Viviana fully, his eyes searching hers.
"And you, Seventh Miss, are their pride and joy."
Vivi nodded her head but she truly did not believe it for her she must see it before she believes it.
"What about my brothers?"
Gong's expression softened as he spoke of Viviana's brothers.
"Your brothers are all exceptional in their own ways," he said, a note of pride in his voice.
"The eldest, Alexander, is a renowned surgeon. He's saved countless lives and is considered a pioneer in his field."
"He's followed by Sebastian, a brilliant physicist. His work in quantum mechanics has earned him numerous accolades and awards."
"Then there's Ethan, a gifted musician. He's a virtuoso on the violin and has performed with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras."
"Next is Oliver, a talented architect. His designs are innovative and sustainable, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the industry."
"Your fifth brother, Charles, is a master chess player. He's won multiple world championships and is considered a genius in the game. Than you have a twin brother, he is fan of car racing, and his in the entertainment industry."
Vivi expression was natural as she nodded her head and tapped her finger before she looked out the window.
"How about my grandparents?"
