"The brain scan came back with the same result. Kai does have a tumor growing in his brain." Alec said, after looking at the new brain scan.
Andrea's legs weakened and gave out on her, but before she could fall, Gael held her.
Andrea turned to him, "Did...did you hear him? He said Kai has a tumor?"
"He will be fine, Andrea. Why don't you go meet him? I'm sure he is waiting for you to hold him."
Andrea wiped her tears with trembling hands. "I'm a terrible mother. This happened because I couldn't even take care of my own son, but I...I can't live without Kai. I will die if anything happens to him."
Gael pulled her into his arms and held her until she calmed down, requesting to see her son.
After Andrea left, Gael focused his attention on the doctor. "What happens now?"
"Luckily we spot the tumor on time; however, it is in a delicate place."
"So surgery will be risky?" Gael asked, taking a look at the second scan.
