Episode 14
It had been three days since Haider vanished.
Rabaab had gone to his house twice—both times the door was locked. She couldn't shake the feeling that something terrible had happened.
That evening, she sat in the university library, flipping through a book on ancient mysticism. A torn piece of paper slipped out from between the pages. In faint, smudged writing, it read:
> "Don't look into the mirror at 3:13 AM.
Don't answer if someone knocks thrice.
Don't listen to the man with hollow eyes."
Rabaab's heart dropped.
3:13 AM. The exact time she'd woken from her dream last night.
Her phone vibrated. A text from an unknown number:
> "Whatever you do tonight…
don't open the door."
She froze.
Someone knocked.
Three times.
"Tomorrow my novel will complete 12K words. You all have been so supportive — just a little more support now. Please like, comment, and add it to your library so that when I apply for the contract, it doesn't get rejected. Thank you all for your love!"
