Chapter 20 - Chapter 21 Room 310

Once Natasha stepped through the main entrance gates of the hotel, the driver discreetly reached for his phone. He knew it was time to inform Kenny, his boss, who had sent him to secretly protect Natasha without her knowledge. This man's name was Penton. He was Kenny's secret agent in Velmora and would always update him on any mission he assigned to his members in that country.

With a calm demeanor, he dialed Kenny's number and waited for him to pick up.

As the phone rang, Kenny's voice was finally heard."Hello?" he answered, his voice full of anxiety.

"Kenny, it's me," the driver said, keeping his tone steady and low. "We have arrived at the hotel safely. Natasha is completely unaware of my true purpose here."

Kenny sighed with relief in his voice, then he replied, "That's great news! I was worried about her safety. Thank you for taking care of her, Penton. Any updates on what happened there, the mission? updates ."

"Nothing much, boss. The men haven't made any moves for the time being, but I still have my eyes on them," he responded.

"Good work, keep tabs on them," Kenny responded.

The driver nodded to himself, appreciating Kenny's trust in him. "It's my pleasure, Boss. I understand the importance of this mission. Natasha is like family to you, and I won't let anything happen to her."

Kenny felt relieved that he had found someone trustworthy to safeguard Natasha where she was. "I can't thank you enough. Please keep an eye on her at all times, but be discreet. We don't want her to suspect anything."

The driver nodded his head. "Don't worry, Boss. I will do everything possible to keep her safe. You know I have been trained for situations like this. I will continue acting as a taxi driver, keeping a watchful eye on her while remaining invisible."

Kenny's voice was heard again. " I know Penton. You are a true professional. Just remember, her safety is our top priority. If anything seems off or suspicious, let me know immediately."

"Absolutely," the driver assured him. "I'll stay alert always and report anything out of the ordinary. You can count on me."

Kenny cleared his throat."I trust you completely. Remember, Natasha must never know about this arrangement. It could put her in danger."

The driver nodded, though Kenny couldn't see it. "I understand, Kenny. My purpose is to keep her safe without alarming her. She won't suspect a thing."

"Excellent," Kenny said with satisfaction. "Keep me updated regularly, my friend. I need to know that Natasha is in good hands." He had to remind him again and again.

"Consider it done, Kenny. I'll provide you with regular updates on Natasha's well-being here and any significant events that occur."

"Thank you."

Kenny felt Penton's dedication to help him meant the world to him.

The driver hung up the call and slipped his phone back into his pocket. Stepping out of the car, he assumed his role as a taxi driver once more, ready to protect Natasha.

What Natasha didn't know was that her every step would be watched over by a silent protector, ensuring her safety as she went about her daily activities.

On the other hand, Natasha stepped into the hotel, feeling. She had been traveling for hours, and all she wanted was a room to rest her exhausted body.

The receptionist smiled warmly, making her feel instantly welcome.

"Good evening, Miss, how can I assist you today?" the receptionist asked politely.

Natasha replied, her voice filled with gratitude, "Hello, miss, I would like to book a room for the night, please."

"Certainly, may I have your name, please?" the receptionist responded with a friendly tone.

"My name is Natasha," she answered while handing over her identification.

The receptionist quickly processed her information and handed back her ID. "Thank you, Natasha. We have a room available for you. It's on the fourth floor, Room 210. I hope you'll find it comfortable."

"Thank you so much," Natasha replied with a relieved smile.

The receptionist offered to assist her with her luggage, and Natasha gratefully accepted. Together, they made their way to the elevator, engaging in friendly conversation along the way.

As they reached the fourth floor, the receptionist led Natasha down a corridor. "Here we are, Room 310," he said, gesturing towards the door.

Natasha turned the doorknob and stepped into her room. The room was small and simple but very cozy and welcoming.

"Oh, it's lovely!" Natasha exclaimed, her eyes lighting up with happiness. "Everything looks so cozy and inviting."

The receptionist smiled proudly, pleased with Natasha's reaction. "I'm glad you like it, Natasha. We strive to make our guests feel at home during their stay."

He pointed out the amenities, such as the sleek television, the mini bar stocked with refreshing drinks, and the spacious en suite bathroom with a clean bathtub.

"And if you need anything at all, don't hesitate to call our reception. We are available 24/7 to assist you," the receptionist assured her.

Natasha nodded appreciatively. "Thank you for your kind assistance. I'm sure I will have a wonderful stay here."

With that, the receptionist turned to leave. As she closed the door behind him, Natasha felt relieved. She had finally found a new place to think about her life.

Sitting on the leather couch near the window, Natasha gazed out at the city lights, enjoying the simple luxury of peace and comfort. She liked everything she saw.

She had to take a shower and have a rest, it had been such an exhausting day for her.
